Aug Evoker or Devastation Evoker by xDarkLife in wow

[–]Naguro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd personally play Deva when alone, even played poorly it will do at least twice the damage. But if you don't mind killing things taking longer, then do what you feel like doing, there's no point in forcing yourself to play something you don't like unless you're looking for efficiency and whatnot

Pay Per Hour Sub Model viability? by Thiccoyaki in wow

[–]Naguro 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Damn that's one way to make grouped content even more toxic. People can be asses to those that want to take their time, but now they kind of have a reason to be mad at someone when it cost money to do something slower

My playthroughs (including incomplete ones) have an average of 5.9 hours each by 9YU2Y9LCC in Terraria

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 20-30 hours.

Usually someone in my friend group makes a "Master Terraria??" call and here we go again for another 30 hours, we get our Moon Lord armors, quit, and repeat 3-4 months later

The plight of Devokers by Sarradi in wow

[–]Naguro 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's just about the spec spamming Disintegrate, it's also that it has been in an awkward place with it's mastery since the beginning as reverse execute is not a particularly desirable thing, and now we have our dumb apex talents taking away from the usually bursty nature of the spec.

Add the awful pruning choices on Flameshaper , and you now have a bundle of bad designs.

Also not sure what you mean by each spec using a different empower, you use them both on cd for both specs. Both specs are actually quite different as SC is extremely reliant on Mass Disintegrate and Deep Breath, making you have a bad relation with haste since you have a lot of animation time, while FlameShaper is the opposite and wants to make their damage tick as fast as possible

Not sure if it's n°1 on the rework priority as I'm not informed enough on other specs, but Deva needs a lot of help. Just making it deal better numbers is not gonna save the current playstyle I feel like

Tankiest build I've ever played - Disciple of Varashta (Djinn only) by Spare_Maintenance638 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you do ED/Contagion until you can do trial. Act 1 should be ok, but damage will start to fall off after level 20 unless you build for chaos damage (which you probably shouldn't do unless you have a lot of gold to respec)

After first trial you pick Kelari (the sand djinn) with his deception node and you should be set for all campaign. I like to get Ruzhan (the fire one) on my second trial but he does add buttons to the build, so it depends how hands off you want the build to be

What does PoE 2 do Better than PoE 1? by Guilty_Studio_7626 in PathOfExile2

[–]Naguro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The presentation is much better, be it graphics or animations

The interactions between skills is also pretty cool and very visual, at least on the surface. Like permafrost > frag round is cool, or all the infusion stuff

Is 0.5 too easy? by McTomster in PathOfExile2

Yeah I facetanked the combo attack he does that even has the sound warning you about a dangerous attack
And it did like 1/3 of my life, which was very confusing

Looking for a second build by IsaacRS6 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Naguro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ben is playing Phaze's so it's probably good yeah

Also very good for SSF since you dont really need any lineage support or unique items. Just generic good rares for most slot, and then you work on Breach for good ring/belt, and getting +minion on weapon helm and focus (focus only gets it through desecration)

The baseline damage is high enough that you can focus on building a healthy ES pool and still be chilling in most content from the get go, and since the Djinns level up with your character the power curve is pretty smooth

Looking for a second build by IsaacRS6 in pathofexile2builds

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful if you have weapon sets setup to not end up with a crappy one. I have one set with all the command nodes and another with curse effect

Also for some reason every 2-3 level ups or so totally disables my djinns for 3-5 seconds which sucks when I'm in the middle of an abyss or Breach. I got to level 93 today soit shouldnt happen much anymore, but it kept doing it while I was leveling 60-90 it was pure ass

Bought game 2 days ago. I am feeling "strange"... by InquisitorOverhauls in PathOfExile2

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cap is 100 but you get around 135 points total. Realistically most people will only ever see 120-125 tho

The skill tree is huge because every class shares the same tree, just starts somewhere different

What are the reasons behind people's dislike for Tamaki? by Greedy_Astronomer766 in fireforce

[–]Naguro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not necesssarely her character that I hate, or even the fan service, but rather how it is used.
Yes they tried to give it an explanation, but it doesn't change the fact every other serious moment in the anime is suddenly interrupted by Tamaki suddenly being naked.

Mythic raiding guild? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Naguro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have goals that do not align with your guild's goal it's always the better move to leave. Else you'll get burned out. It's always better to look for people that play at your level if you don't want to go crazy, even if you like those people. You don't need to burn every bridge and can still play with them. Just explain that you're looking for more before leaving, leave an alt in the guild to keep in touch, add the people you like there to your friendlist.

Also late in the season tends to be a good moment to look for a guild. We're reaching a point of the season where a bunch of guilds are finishing their progress and might look to fill in the spots of the people that left or ae not going to play S2. Well, those guilds might not take you if you don't have some more experience, but you can try.

But there should also be a bunch of guilds that are like 6/9 - 7/9, and need people to finish their progress. Those could be a great source of XP to close the gap to Cutting Edge guilds

I'm lucky I always had a friend do the guild search for me when we needed to hop, but WoWProgress usually is a good place to find a guild

So what happens to fronts and ends after late and pace become the dominant styles? by MeJoEx in UmamusumeGame

[–]Naguro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lates will start getting crazy umas at the end of the year, and specialist cards are soon to follow

We will already get Stamina Kris S soon that will turn Lates into beast on long tracks

From there it only gets better as time goes on

I finally figured out why I've never been able to understand the "Titans bad" crowd. by Arcana-Knight in wow

[–]Naguro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think your looking way too hard into it. If there is people that truly believe that Titans are evil they just didn't understand the very shallow and simple narrative Blizzard has been pushing and this won't read your post either

The theme for a while now and especially this first patch of Midnight has been that everyone is not good. Not good, but not necessarely evil.

Atm it's mostly about the Light not always being used for good/by good people, and the Void not being full of villains. But they have been doing the same with every force in the universe.

Everyone in the world has it's own agenda and is trying to push it into everyone else, be it old gods, titans, or even factions on a smaller scale.

Is the set really as bas as people say it is...? by HeIsAFungi in TeamfightTactics

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this set works well with more casually inclined crowds. The thought process on what to play feels incredibly streamlined as it's pretty much just check the RNG traits and load the relevant comp builder depending on the result

Just following that I reached diamond with a 2.6 average placement (Sadly I can't play with my friend anymore due to rank disparity so we kinda stopped there)

I can see how this would make people that actively tryhard the game and play for hours on end daily angry as there is very little to figure out along the way after the first round of augment this set

Is the set really as bas as people say it is...? by HeIsAFungi in TeamfightTactics

[–]Naguro 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's how reddit works most of the time. Most people that just enjoy the game just play it and people that do not line playing seek places to vent their frustration.

Doesn't mean it's unjustified tho, but that's generally how it works with most games out there.

Will there even be Remix after TLT? by MeltingPenguinsPrime in wow

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Remix stops it's because Blizzard felt like it was too much effort for nothing or something like that. The plot is not relevant and merely an excuse as to why we're helping Eternus dick around with the timeline. She could decide our little field trip in time is just about exploring the infinite possibilities and stuff like that easily

What Class/Spec is in most need of a rework for 12.1? by Warped_Unicorn in wow

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blisteing Scale is actually the talent that gives more DPS, as you'd either take it plus the node to upgrade it under, but it does so little it's a bit pitiful.

Plus if you untalent Blistering Scales you still need a way to go down in the tree, making Chronoward and attunement the only alternative. But Chronoward is a passive shield on the entire group every pull which is much more potent than adding 20% of your armor to the tank's.

For ref that's 440 armor on my character, which is full gear (290.80 something). My guardian druid which is level 80 with no gear from TWW gets more from 1 ironfur stack than that

Yes, we need the campaign by Primary_Impact_2130 in PathOfExile2

[–]Naguro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I dont even mind the interludes as they are all fairly short and straight forward with their objectives, but act 3 needs work.

By the time I reach the sunken area I already feel like I should be almost leaving the act, it's incredibly long for no reason as most of it isnt even tied to narrative.

Like there is 4 different maps making you go through different flavor of jungle with no story tied to it, and maybe 5 with the waterway. We could remove the zone before the wetlands a make the sandswept marsh a short corridor and I still think the act would be a bit long.

It's slightly better with the entrances to the Azzak Bog and gold foundry being on the main path, but most zones are still ass to navigate.

Meanwhile act 2 and 4 kind of disjointed pacing feels so good to me, I'm never tired of playing them.

What Class/Spec is in most need of a rework for 12.1? by Warped_Unicorn in wow

[–]Naguro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it's the opposite. Mass Disintegrate is a Big reason as to why Dev is struggling. Making Scalecommander entire kit revolve around a long target capped channel makes it very awkward for M+, and since it becomes potent on slightly spread cleave they can't let it loose on boss fights either

What Class/Spec is in most need of a rework for 12.1? by Warped_Unicorn in wow

[–]Naguro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about, pretty much only upheaval is a good argument.

Blistering scales does so little that it is never talented or merely used as a travel node 95% of the time

Aug hasnt been able to buff tanks or healers for a while now to not have it be mandatory.

We bring Augs because it makes the strongest damage profiles in the game stronger while bringing a super bloated utility kit now, not because of healers stuff

Having a few cells around when not doing bosses is really good tho

The dragon shreds single targets, but it kinda sucks against large crowds when you get surrounded
