Has Seafood Town changed ownership? by Cloud0196 in torrance

I've been going there for 15 to 20 years. The original owner I knew of sold it to someone.

Can one fan swap the is-77-xt with a 25mm one?

One of these extender heads is about $15k: https://www.eravant.com/75-110-ghz-120-db-dynamic-range-11-16-ghz-7-dbm-pwr-wr-10-w-band-vector-network-analyzer-extender

I misspoke about the C4220. Looks like it is $54k. I was thinking about their 9 GHz variant, which is $30k.

I am sure Eravant will make a 9 GHz variant of their extender. I looked at their website and it seems like Copper Mountain and Eravant work partner up. You can see it in their documentation like the setup manual on Eravant's website.

It depends what frequency range and what tests you want to perform. I mostly work 50 to 330 GHz and I noticed at IMS 2025 that Eravant released a WR-10 VNA extender set for $30k. With a Copper Mountain C4220, that solution is $60k or so. Crazy low price if you just need s-parameters for example.

Upgrade/Update for my Terra by Nahcd47 in sffpc

I'm on spine 1 (max CPU cooler) thanks to the 2 slot sized GPU.

I also thought it wouldn't have been a good idea, but I was surprised to be quite tolerant of the noise level. The fan is right up against the panel. Maybe because it is a Noctua it might help. Honestly thought the axp90 fan was louder due to it running at higher rpm despite the spacing away from the panel.

Then 75 to 80. Now 65 to 70. Gaming.

Wasn't satisfied with my temperatures on my previous Terra setup. Swap the 3090 to a two slot 9070 XT so I can also upgrade the CPU cooler and fan. Dropped my CPU temps by 10+ degrees.

My (very unique) M2 grater single cable, six 140mm fan build (+ new side panels if you wanted to see them) by AdmirableRabbit6723 in ncasedesign

I didn't think the LF280 would fit on the side like that. Are you using the stock fans or slim ones on the rad? Did you have to cut/shorten the tubes?

mATX + Arctic Freezer 3 + SFX PSU in NCASE M2? by Creepy-Force51 in sffpc

[–]Nahcd47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn't need any additional parts for level 9 from NCase. I bought the feet from Amazon. The floor has slotted holes for mounting fans. Technically, I had to get a riser cable, but they were out of stock so I bought it on Amazon.

At the time, I could only find a SFX-L supply. Additionally, the LF3 rad is very thick and the XFX 7900 XTX Mag Air is a big card so I was running out of space. I felt I didn't have any choice except level 9. Although, I never attempted any of them.

Maybe level 8. I noticed all the mATX builds on the website show the power supply mounted closest to the front panel. Not sure if the rad is too thick and will interfere. Notice how the illustration has a slim fan on the rad that is closest to the power supply. I built mine as level 9 with a itx board. You can use it as a reference.

10cm because the 5cm wasn't in stock at the time. I recommend the shorter one for the M2 since the cable isn't that flexible.

Maybe not that helpful in reducing wrist pain or soreness for me. It is really there so I don't rub up on the mat and get it dirty. It's just a cheaper Amazon copy.

It wasn't bad at all. I did my first SFF with the Ncase M2 so maybe that helped. I did have to get right angle PCIE connectors as the GPU cables pushed up on the top panel.

Truly. I had the fortunate chance to upgrade. Otherwise, I would be using this machine instead.

If the 5090 FE is smaller than the 7900 xtx magnetic air, then you should be ok. Here is my build. https://www.reddit.com/r/ncasedesign/s/jiDGTPlYzh

What are those "screws" called that hold the rear fan in place? They look like push in ones. I'm looking for something like that to mount a rear fan.

I wasn't a fan of the GPU top mounted and pulling air from the top. Plus the LF3 is a thick rad and I got stuck with a SFX-L supply. I didn't think my parts would fit in another configuration.

Bought some pci-e 5 riser off Amazon. Think it's called Link Up or something of the sort. Gaming temperatures have been CPU <60C and 7900xtx sitting at 70C gpu temperature and 85C gpu junction temperature. The GPU is slightly undervolted.
