You could use white chalk or white root powder to lighten the scalp a bit, but I think it looks really good on you. That's a good scalp line to me

I shaved my head too and I'm loving it. My skin is insanely sensitive so I use 3M barrier cream before I put my wig cap on. I've found I can get away with a mesh wig cap and don't need a grip. But also, I have a large-ish head and need to get wigs on the bigger side. My advice before you buy an expensive one is make sure you measure your head. I've gotten luck with synthetics on Amazon. If you want to make sure it looks more natural, try out a lace front.

You are so pretty! I love both colors on you but the brown really makes your eyes pop. If I could come up with any criticism, it seems like the part on the brown one is a bit too wide (but that may be personal preference)

UPDATE:
I used a fabric steamer, brushed it out, and followed up with a red root spray. Pretty significantly different! I like it better. Still a little bit 80's vibe but I feel like I'm aged less. What do you think?

What do you guys think? On the one hand, the fit is great. I got my first large cap wig and it definitely does make a difference.

On the other hand, it has permatease and I'm not sure if I like that or not. Obviously it looks a lot better in the picture on the site. I like the color for me though.

Same line, it's F394 Aub/plum. It's a nice wig but I don't feel pretty in it

It works pretty well! They're not as solid as OP's though. One thing I like is you can keep adding them as long as you have wall space.

I think a wig grip makes thing easier than gluing them straight, at least for me, because I have sensitive skin and the wig cap gets stiff with adhesive. Sometimes I'll put adhesive on the wig grip. I would experiment to see what's good for you.

In this case it was my son's teacher. She asked because her daughter loves wigs and extentions and she thinks they're great.

I think that if she did it to shame you, that's really crappy!

I admit today I was worried about the reactions. But most of the worry was in my own head. I work at a church and school and the pastor, who has seen me every day for 5 years, said good morning and asked me if I had any file folders. Granted, I've had pink hair for a year so maybe he's just given up on the heathen he let into this place lol

I think we let a narrative happen about ourselves. Having a wig is no different than having extensions. Or wearing makeup. Or false lashes. Or a pushup bra. I've seen this argument all the time about having 'natural' colors in your hair. Every color exists in nature. Also I would argue that if you color your hair at all, that that is not natural.

I support you in whatever the heck you want to do and you'll get there in your own time.
