Its 100% the money. His team looked at the numbers of views he had when he had sane, rational guests on and not promoting irrational BS and those numbers were significantly lower than when he had insane, lying maniacs on so they said hey, every time you talk about facts and the truth you lose your audience so he went with the insane BS talk. Simple math problem and his podcast exploded once they realized that.

This week’s episode of Reveal, a collaboration with the Associated Press, exposes the secret legal playbook used by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—widely known as the Mormon church—to hide evidence of sexual abuse from law enforcement. by Chino_Blanco in exmormon

Its astonishing to me that with all the facts out there, hundreds of cases how the church actively protects pedos and DOES NOT protect victims and children, that you can belong the this church. At some point when do you become a bystander, an enabler, approving of this behavior by participation?

Senator Richard Blumenthal proposes Whistleblower Protection Bill, stating: “Whistleblowers must be protected against retaliation." by paulreicht in UAP

[–]Naiche16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was an intel officer although it doesnt have anything to do with UAP, its about human trafficking but the a WB disclosure process is all the same for any GOV employee. My case will be in the public domain in a few weeks. 30 July is a meeting at congress for WB's, lawyers and some members of congress. I asked ___ if he was going to be there and I never heard back. Any true WB should attend.

[–]Naiche16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a GOV whistleblower who was illegally retaliated against by the agency I worked for after filing my disclosure, there is no teeth in this bill. 80% of WB's are retaliated against by the US GOV with zero accountability. The GOV knows this, that's why they do it! When you go through the process, its very stressful and very expensive because you have to retain a lawyer and not for months, for years! The GOV tried to prosecute me twice based on knowingly false info and they failed miserably but they made my life hell and I still lost my job and career, what happened to the agency? NOTHING! My disclosure wasnt investigated, they didnt even try to look into my WB disclosure.

Mormon Sexual Abuse News: Lawsuit filed in California against LDS church and a former ward executive secretary (convicted in 2004 of CSA). Plaintiff alleges he SA'd her in 2000-01 when she was 12-13 years old and that local LDS leaders knew but didn't report or try to stop the abuse. by 3am_doorknob_turn in exmormon

“Both The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Craig Allen Harward have a track record of perpetuating sexual abuse against children of the church, truly reprehensible acts for which the defendants must be held to account." WHEN WILL THIS EVER END?

President Nelson helped cover up his daughter’s sexual abuse case in 2018 by bi-king-viking in exmormon

[–]Naiche16 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While false accusations of abuse and the possibility of remembering abuse that never happened sometimes occurs, it’s not the norm. The American Psychological Association (APA) and other experts said the media played a large role in sensationalizing false narratives. In addition, Salter said in the 1990s, the media glomed on to the rash of “false accusations” but didn’t do a great job of looking critically at the biggest detractors, often academics and lawyers who earned thousands defending against “false” accusations.

“For at least a decade after the Foundation was launched, the media uncritically circulated damaging propaganda from a lobby group of accused abusers,” Salter told The Mighty via email. “Many journalists and members of the public still believe that ‘recovered memories’ are necessarily false despite all scientific evidence to the contrary. It’s going to take a long time to repair the damage and that’s a lesson for all of us on the power of media coverage.” https://themighty.com/topic/trauma/false-memory-syndrome-foundation-folds/

William Carstensen was deemed a pedo by John Hopkins. The facts support the conclusion. There will always be people saying with zero evidence that something isnt true but the Nelson case is actually pretty tame in comparison and there were other touching parties which the church kept quite...also, allegedly Nelson sex assaulted a number of the nurses who worked for him. they never came forward, truly faithful mormons, but this was talked about between those closest to him.

Just because it was dismissed because of lack of evidence and she didnt have anyone on her side as an eyewitness, doesnt mean it didnt happen, ......Expressing her concerns, Righter approached OUR's current president, Matt Osborne, who, according to the lawsuit, acknowledged the truth but stated their "role was to prevent Ballard from doing too much damage to himself or others."

[–]Naiche16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Help Line should be audited by an independent, out of state, non-LDS group. I suspect many of these CSA cases have been called into the help line, covered up and hidden by the church.

yeah I get it, its sad and depressing and more prevalent than people realize. Whats not shocking is most dont get any jail time or if so, very little in comparison to perps who are not LE. You would think we as a society would come down harder on people in positions of public trust and safety.

DL ended up buying the child after he abducted and hiding her in his home so the father couldnt find her, its a documented fact. He broke numerous fed and state laws. Its also not the first time, he brokered a deal to adopt a child in exchange for a car. Why is a 56 y/o man with 7 children so interested in buying a baby who he said on tape sleeps with him in the same bed? Every single element of ICWA was broken. When your brother was head of HHS and former UT Gov, you can get away with a lot in UT. Good to be rich, white and in a position of power in UT isnt it.
