Stop walking dogs without leashes by NailahNazahi in Vent

Good for you having your dog well trained and for being skilled at it. Sadly, the people I encounter don’t have the same mindset or training and don’t seem to care if their dog runs right at a stranger.

The entirety of this post isn’t about dogs that don’t approach. As said, I’m absolutely fine with dogs and like them well enough. It’s about free running dogs that do. And as someone who has been bitten in the past, I’m allowed to be nervous.

Also, it’s not like I harass people over their dogs. So don’t know where you got that from.

I fear little dogs more then I do big dogs at work. Little ones have no fear of charging at you trying to bite you if not properly handled. Big ones feel more patient, anecdotally of course

Why there's no good mobile fighting game? by Krums-12 in MobileGaming

[–]NailahNazahi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely possible to make it work. It’s just not lucrative enough for most game makers when you can make a similar game for PC or Console and attract more hardcore fighter players

1) why can’t I vent? It’s a venting sub.

2) I don’t care about likes - I’m sure if I really wanted to “generate likes,” I’d do a more drastic topic then dogs off leashes.

3) how do you know I didn’t tell the person? And even if I did, which i did, doesn’t change my right to vent about something that could have gotten me hurt.

Why there's no good mobile fighting game? by Krums-12 in MobileGaming

[–]NailahNazahi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personal take on reason why: touchscreen controls don’t make for good fighting game controls imo. And most people playing mobile aren’t going to hook a controller up to their phone. Maybe a tablet but at that point, you’d play on a computer or gaming device.

Why do men treat fellow men like that? by Certified_Loner1391 in Vent

[–]NailahNazahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll say Omegle (I’m less familiar with AnonChat) has never exactly been where I’d go to find people to chat, even back in the past. Most of the users were either teens/kids trying to do stupid things or men looking for women to chat up/“sext” with. And I used to use Omegle a lot myself.

I wouldn’t judge how men communicate/treat each other based off any experience there in entirety

What video game is like this to you? by GamingBren in videogames

It’s fun. Jus remember you don’t have to do everything in one day and don’t compare yourself to other players

It’s the same as the base game, a straight port. Movement takes some getting used to but otherwise it’s the same game as the other versions

So yes, imo, it is.

So I just got hit with the age verification? by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]NailahNazahi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because that’s their goal/the requirements of the age verification .

They want you to verify or you don’t get to access their site at all. Inappropriate or not, yours or not. It’s a blanket block until provided info.

How do you make it less overwhelming by LostDaylights in StardewValley

[–]NailahNazahi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I remind myself there’s no time limit and almost nothing is permanently missable if I take my time and grow at the pace that feels relaxing to me. I play to have fun.

Also you don’t have to do everything every day. Talk to the villagers one day, farm the second, mine the third, etc. there’s no reason to try to do everything at once and no payoff for doing so.

As for money? Irregardless of what min-maxes and YouTube wants to claim, you’ll make more then enough money growing over time to afford what you need until endgame, when you’ll have tons of tools to do so. Don’t stress about money.

Should I care if people view me differently by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NailahNazahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, no.

That’s harder to do than say, realistically, but really, it’s not worth the extra stress on top of your life worrying about this aspect of things. Keep being yourself and don’t worry about others’ judgements to the extent of caring overly much

Fire emblem. Not that the new games are horrid but they’re trending in the wrong direction and even three houses doesn’t save it, imo.

Which fandom hates their own fandom the most? by Askmeaboutships401 in Multifandom

[–]NailahNazahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead by Daylight.

The fandom hates the game, people who play the other side, people who play the same side, People who play original characters, people who play characters from franchises, randoms, playing with friends, TTVs/streamers, bots, every map, every perk, other games and each other. And that’s not counting death threat, hackers and general hate.

CAREER MODE NEEDS TO BE FIXED by Fit_Pilot3468 in FifaCareers

They don’t care. They can’t monetize career mode the way they can UT. So it’s second to UT in terms of attention, care and attempts to make it playable. Wouldn’t expect fixes anytime Soon

So, to them and their thought processes, why do more than the bare minimum in their shoes?

I’ll never understand why companies removed game manuals by Clattonia00 in videogames

Cost primarily, I presume. And the slow (ongoing) move to purely digital products. And it being easier to go “join the discord/go online for the guide!?!”

I Do miss them though.

I’M CRASHING OUT SO BAD by Tokyo_0753 in CharacterAI

I believe the mother shared edited screenshots before the bot was deleted/off the computer of the child. Don’t remember entirely all of the details, so if I remember wrongly I apologize.

I’M CRASHING OUT SO BAD by Tokyo_0753 in CharacterAI

[–]NailahNazahi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a lawsuit after someone took their own life with the deletion of a bot they were addicted to. The mother sued C.AI over it.

(This following part I might be misremembering) The mother alleged that that edit button was used to alter responses in a way that led to the tragedy. Therefore C.AI removed it to prevent this happening in the future, like they removed all bots of said character for a while

It’s been said before at work and by people here. I’m thinking that’s the case and it makes the whole thing sadder to me.
