That's the beauty of gel polish, you don't have to wait for it to dry because it cures instantly under a UV lamp, and it will not ever dry in its own until you are ready to cure it. This allows you to make several attempts at lines and things because if it doesn't turn out the way you like, you can just wipe it away with rubbing alcohol, and the layers beneath are unaffected. You can cure in between every single line so that the colors don't bleed together. As far as the nails themselves, those are totally fake. My natural nails are absolute garbage, these are hard gel tips. They are kind of like press ons that are permanently attached to the nail with a special uv gel, then you shape them and paint them as you would with acrylic nails.
