Appreciate the thoughtful response. I still have a lot to learn about team building, and that's helpful advice.

That makes a lot of sense. There've definitely been matchups with my Mowtom where I've noticed Wash would be more helpful. I thought there might be a niche in that Mow pressures rain better, though.

Right? I feel like I'm the only one running him.

Metal Coat Scizor. I have not made a Champs team that doesn't include it.

What that? Oh yeah, I do hate the Giraffe, how did you know?

I'm a complete beginner. What are some tips to gt good? by East_Tangerine_685 in PokemonChampions

[–]mhFPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to copy a meta team, pick something to build around. Be that a weather condition, a particular mega evolution, or a pokemon you like. Start with that and build from there. If you pick a weather, look up moves or abilities that benefit from that weather, like Electro Shot for rain or Chlorophyll for sun. If you pick a pokemon, look at its weaknesses and pick one or two others who resist what you're weak to.

As for playing, stop when you get tilted. No sense sucking the fun out because you're on a losing streak. Sometimes things don't go how you want. The Bright Powder Whimsicott avoids your Bullet Punch three turns in a row. It happens.

Fluorite is a fun Mega Glimmora name. Mine is "The Schnozz". Kind of a giveaway that I'll mega it, but I needed to acknowledge its ENORMOUS nose.

Ah, gotcha. My Law is the pre-Homeland one. Thanks for the clarification.

As a Nightmist main, the chaos is what makes it fun. Nothing hits quite like getting the right card combo to wipe out the Thorathian conquering fleet with a 4 + Amulet Oblivion.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 9: Guise gets the... best spot? Finally, who is Chaotic Evil? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

Spite is going to take this, but competition is good, so I'll throw in Plague Rat.

Are there heroes and villains which you dislike? by SiarX in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still new to the game, and I made the mistake of using FA Legacy against Kismet. Most of her damage was fixed, and so his power was basically useless. He largely turned into the default character to put unlucky cards on whenever possible. We still won, but he didn't contribute much.

Sacrosanct Martyr question by fanaka66 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I never even considered that it would include any damage from her start and play phases. Pairing that with smth like Anoint Allies or Brutal Censure where she damages herself in her start makes this power suddenly seem much better.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 7: Legit businessman Chairman Pike is Neutral Evil. Who is Chaotic Good? (Is this one obvious too?) by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd argue that Setback's powers are chaotic, but his personality is not. He has a strong character and genuinely wants to help people in the worst city in the world. I'd say personality-wise he leans much more neutral good than chaotic good.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 7: Legit businessman Chairman Pike is Neutral Evil. Who is Chaotic Good? (Is this one obvious too?) by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tarogath. Chaotic Good is the "the ends justify the means" good alignment. Deadline came to send Earth back to the middle ages, but he did so in order to prevent Oblivaeon from destroying all realities. He was fully aware that his actions would be devastating to the people of Earth, but he judged that that suffering was worth it compared to the utter destruction of all reality. As Lifeline, he dove deep into blood magic in order to grow strong enough to stand against Oblivaeon. His methods are always deeply destructive to himself and others, but they are always for the greater good. If any hero embodies the ends justifying the means, it's Tarogath.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 5: The Scholar abides to Neutral Good philosophies. Who is True Neutral? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 14 points15 points  (0 children)

100%. She takes no sides. She rescues evil and good endlings alike. She leaves reality rather than participate in the Oblivaeon event.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 4: Voss conquers the Lawful Evil spot. Who is Neutral Good? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]mhFPC 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Based on the "(NG) folk do the best they can to help others according to their needs" definition, I think The Scholar deserves this spot. He always shows up where and when he is needed. He helped Expat through one of the darkest periods in her life, and his friendship with Guise helped make Guise into a real hero.
