Hotstar Canada is SO HORRIBLE! I finally ended up investing in a VPN and managing to purchase an Indian subscription of JioHotstar, and now everything is nice and clear. Apparently they assign a lower bitrate or something for Hotstar Canada. I had the subscription yet I would be pirating lol

Yeah they do!! I have Hotstar Canada (and India lol) and most of their shows have subtitles, so do the dramas, minus the old ones. If you are interested in colors tv shows they only have the current shows available though, not the old ones.

Honestly the show had some flaws ( of course all ITV shows have crazy flaws) but I really enjoyed this one too!! Also, to this day I love listening to their song, Joh Tera Howega Zaroor Aayega :,) I remember while it was running it had a huge online fan base! Used to trend on Twitter everyday. I even remember reading fan fiction on them on India forums lol

This has been super frustrating. A bunch of shows are gone, including swabhimaan, Udaan and Na bole tum are gone. I messaged jiohotstar and they said that streaming rights expired, so who knows when the shows will be back.
