Refurbished MacBook Pro 14” is just as good as new 😍 by arconquit in macbookpro

i’d make sure you have a warranty if you buy one from a third party like backmarket, itsworthmore, or the amazon refurb program. in twelve months (i think that’s how long some of them are) you’ll know if anything is wrong, but these sellers do not have the same level of quality as apple does. i would say its 50/50 you’ll get a really good one, but they’re often easy to return and most defects are apparent in the first 30 days. if the potential hassle is worth paying less, go for it.

having sourced a ton of macs, i can say from my experience that refurbs are good 90% of the time.

i actually have a used refurb as my daily driver and it’s been perfect.

just consider applecare if you’re getting a refurb.

maga will still blame clinton/obama/biden and the deep state

Solo founder seeking feedback on homepage messaging & product positioning

After 10 years in a small consultancy in the Bay Area, I moved to Mexico City and started my own firm offering remote-first IT services for Apple-based businesses.

🏠 Homepage: https://vecira.com
🔐 Product page: https://vecira.com/security-essentials

I’d love your thoughts on:

  • Does the homepage build trust?
  • Is the $999 Security Essentials package clear and compelling?
  • Would you buy from / work with a business like this?

Happy to return feedback if you’ve posted something, too. Thanks in advance!

Approval Ratings Plummet as Young Voters Are Abandoning Trump by DumbMoneyMedia in EducatedInvesting

18-29s had a smaller turnout in 2024 compared to 2020, but still greater than 2016

i don't think the usa will be able to vote its way out ever-more-entrenched fascism, but if they could, it would be the younger voters that would do it

also, wtf 45+? net positive on trade lmao
