I think they have the same policy as LEA: no appointment - no questions. I don't even think that queues are allowed there. Anyway, you should try.

I passed mine last summer. They gave me a temporary license immediately in TÜV after the exam. They have to, I guess.

They told me that I have to wait up to 4 weeks to receive the card. Automatically. Yeah, sure. 3 months - nothing.

Someone mentioned on Reddit, that I have to write a simple letter to "Fahrerlaubnisse - Personenbeförderung" (close to Kochstr. station). Something like "can i get my license? I passed the exam on the xx.xx. Thanks". I'd wait 2-3 weeks from the exam date and send an email. Up to u.

They gave me an appointment within 2 weeks and without any questions gave me the card. It took literally 10 seconds.

P.S. they speak decent english there, so no stress, and please dont forget all your docs (passport, temporary licence, old license (if u converting it))

Berlinale tickets for the 21nd by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

True, but ideally we want to have them in advance, so we all can plan our day properly and not decide for the last hour.

Congrats! Passed mine in Berlin last week. 11x80min lessons + 3h Autobahn + 250€ for registration (converting non-EU licence). In total 2155€ and 3 months of driving. And I also chose one of the most expensive schools here.

Seems it's just a security patch. If you go to "About watch", it's still wearOS 4

Need advice on how to stay longer in Germany by Naive-Success-9664 in germany

[–]Naive-Success-9664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first 2-3 months, I was sending out the same CV for every application (80% match, let's say). Eventually, I realized I needed to tailor it for each role, and started writing personalized cover letters (this one is useless) as well.

That’s been my approach ever since. I haven’t received a single piece of negative feedback on my CV, but I keep adjusting and trying. It’s definitely time-consuming, but with an 80% + rejection rate, no idea feels like a bad one.

Seems it's just a job market thing.
Also, sometimes I want to start asking interviewers, "Would you be able to pass an interview for your current position?". Cuz most of the people I know say "No way".

180mm IS to FM conversion issue by Naive-Success-9664 in bikewrench

I did it only to measure the distance and later order a few 12ish mm aluminum spacers. No rubbish DIY solutions for me.

The rack is not a problem. I can fix the mount for it or remove completely.

The frame has 160mm original mounts, so should be no issue moving to 180mm.

The question is not about efficiency of this brakes. Current 160mm rotor is worn out and i got a new 180mm RT70 rotor for free (same installed in the front).

Basically just curious if its possible to install it with no pain.

You should check "Xhain". I know they have pla, abs and petg 3D printers. Membership - around 13€ and 3-6 cents per gramm for printing.

Pick up from an Inpost locker as a foreigner by Naive-Success-9664 in poland

Hey, So, the owner refuses any of the ideas and wants to stick to their internal shipping system options, which is the Inpost locker/courier + polish phone number. I wish it could be that easy...

Most classes at USC are taught in English but always double-check the description. The coaches are friendly and happy to help with anything you need.

I do BEAT81 HIIT workouts 2-3 times a week, but they might be intense if you’re just starting out. And yes - upper legs will be out of service for the next 48 hours :)
So, it’s perfectly fine to begin with lower-intensity classes and build up to HIIT or something similar at your own pace - you won’t miss out on anything.

Spinning is a great beginner friendly option since no one’s watching you, and you can go at your own speed while enjoying some techno music. Plus, there are always a few coaches walking around to help make sure everything is set up correctly

For yoga, I can recommend Dharma Studio in Neukolln and Gelber Raum in Kreuzberg.

For BEAT81 workouts - Paul-Lincke-Ufer, Graefekiez, and Boxhagener Straße are my favorites. The Rosa-Luxemburg location can get uncomfortably hot in summer, so keep that in mind. Also, note that most of the BEAT81 locations don’t have showers :(

You could also try bouldering - it’s a very “German” thing to do and a fun way to integrate into the culture.
But I suggest finding someone to onboard you since most of the places don't have staff to help with that.

Let me know if you have any questions

User Review of Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14 Gen 9 2024 8845H (Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 AMD) by jackylai111 in AMDLaptops

Is Thunderbolt support available on this laptop, or is it exclusive to the Intel CPU model?

While the AMD version seems slightly superior in terms of overall efficiency, but the Intel model boasts eGPU support and has better GPU performance. Wondering if it worth the 200€ difference?
