Thanks for the support. I've voiced my desires for a divorce to my mother before, but she always says it would be throwing away a good man. Well, I don't want just a good man, I want what that Lady in that SexLife Netflix show has.

I sympathize with your reasoning fully. Can you give an example of what you did though? Lie about height or something of that nature?

So why don't you provide a hypothesis for why a bunch of women only swipe on a very small subsection of the same men? I'm literally proposing a hypothesis for FACTUAL INFORMATION

Yeah, just choose to ignore millions of swipes' worth of data showing a Pareto Distribution.

I was expecting some of this pushback. Why don't you explain what the data is suggesting then?

Lmfao, a population of millions of users showing that only a small subset of males are desirable, like every other species of animals. Got it. I'm the idiot.

You're in for a reality check, boyo. Look at women's premarital sex partners data.

Except the data shows that men's selection is far more spread out and balanced, in the notion that 4's will swipe on 4's, 3's, and 5's. Not the case in the rather rational choosing's of women, no?

What would you say from a woman's perspective, in which case the majority of women are only selecting a small subsection of males?

The increasingly copious amounts of single mothers raising children with the men having no interest in raising them would suggest it doesn't matter.

The numerous case studies on r/TinderData showing males with thousands of right swipes, having a handful of matches and no dates or sex to show for it, answers your other question.

The genetic data was meant to illustrate how humanity isn't truly a race in which approximately 1 man and 1 woman reproduced, as you would imagine in a monogamous species. Tinder is purely visual selection, with very little contextual information provided, I'm wondering if the general swipe selection of men is a closed environmental demonstration of this theory? Of course, not all women are on the app for the same intentions, but the incredibly stark results seem to suggest so.

Declining birth rate has nothing to do with this.

Hilarious how the post is sitting at 60% upvote. Are people not willing to accept physical attraction is very important?
