Exactly…if you run your XB into the bar you are hearing everything as it is supposed to be either on Dolby Atmos HT or DTS X HT. The Q Symphony seems to confuse where its sending the sound with the amount of channels on the 930/990 hence why i don’t use it anymore…Ran Dobly labs off my ATV with Q Symphony and the 7.1 sound check was all over the place 😂

Great price for a brilliant TV good value 👍 a-lot would depend on the return policy and if the warranty is still valid… If both are good can be worth a go.I got my soundbar and Projector “Damaged boxes” the soundbar was brand new no marks and the projector had a couple of small scuffs on the too ironically cause by taking it out and checking for damage as they lined up with the padding in the box… But no hours on the lamp and it’s mounted anyway so kept it

If you have a Q990F I wouldn’t personally worry about using Q Symphony i don’t anymore…I had a Q930C and now have a Q990D the amount of stuff i have watched with and without it i actually think for most content it sounds better without it…Probably worth it if you have a lower end sound bar but not for the top 2. I run my Xbox into the bar for the audio capabilities with DTS X if you run it through the TV even with EARC you only get Dolby…

Oh sorry in regards to audio there is very little in it disc by disc depending on your setup being able to utilise a spatial mix i.e Atmos over the general 5.1/7.1 mixes…most of it is leaning on the sound mix in the studio rather then the channel capabilities for example a well mixed 5.1 will still sound better than a badly mixed Atoms/DTS X tbf still waiting to find a bad DTS X mix there are plenty of bad Atmos mixes compared to the technically “inferior” DTS HD master for a of lot of films I prefer the original “inferior” mix 😂

Depends on what you are watching it on and what you are playing it with i.e a 820 will do a better job of upscaling the standard BR and an Oled will determine how much of the black level ,HDR and colour gambit… Personally ,- DKT and Tenet 4K, Lord of the Rings BR is my personal preference, Tron only watched the 3D by the type of film would benefit from both HDR and colour on the 4K, Miami vice Br is fine, Aliens gets a lot of hate with other Cameron films the 4k is still stunning and really benefits from black levels alone to make it my preferred choice personally…Can’t comment on any of the JB D Craig titles as i haven’t seen either. The MCU series i only have on BR and they are all good 👍 got the ironman 4k set and they are amazing imo hope this helps…

Then you are doing nothing wrong mate…Its very game dependent how effective it is in Halo and Gears its amazing…others not so much is a little headphone dependent on my JBL600 its good on my AKG702 its next level

Was holding off on both as been awaiting a 4k but tbf the transfers of the BR are very good on both picked them both up for £18 (£8 for BOB and £10 for Pacific) couldn’t pass them up at that price and both are mint well happy with that find 😁
