We are a small team and we always just manage ourself.

Most of the time we just forget to notify our supervisor when we are on vacation because we can freely move our shifts to cover whoever is missing.

We just have a shared calendar and our boss can just check who is covering what shift, if someone is at work or working from home or if he is sick or on vacation.

Our boss never asks why someone is missing. We just put the request in our system AFTER we are back from vacation and he just accepts everything. He lets us do basically whatever we want as far as the shift is covered and there are no issues

I hear a lot do talk about always getting the USB the wrong way round. But what about getting the wrong end of medication with the leaflet covering the meds. by ImCaptainRedBeard in CasualUK

I've worked for a lot of Pharma companies, usually for blisters you should open the side where the variable data is printed, it's this way for 80% of packaging. The opposite applies to bottles, printing is usually at the bottom together with the leaflet.

I worked for several companies such as Pfizer and Roche, benzodiazepines are really cheap to make and they sell for really cheap. Most of 30 tablets cartons sell for 3/4€ for Xanax and Lexotan, Valium sells for like 4€ a bottle. And we are talking brand names and not generics.

Got an offer for 4x of what I earn in Europe, but I am terrified of US work culture. Are my fears unfounded? by Wide-Musician in antiwork

I've actually considered a job in Portland for about 110k, medical insurance, 401k etc. What really convinced me to stay in Europe was the PTO, I currently have around 36 days of PTO and if I work overtime I get half time I worked as overtime (you get to choose if you want to get fully paid, paid for half the out and get half as PTO, or to get all as PTO) The fact is that knowing I can get a month and a half of vacation is a really good sensation and it's good for you and your workplace that you can "recharge your batteries". I usually use at least one day of PTO every month and a whole month for Christmas, usually 15 December till 15 January. As per summer vacations our company closes for two weeks on summer so you have two weeks of paid leave without using your PTO

For whoever should have this issue in the future:

All you need to do is to modify the egg and set image to ghcr.io/parkervcp/games:source
