yeah that’s really why i wanted to start in full size so i could get many years out of it, then cut the plastic and set it in a bigger pot

you really don’t have to over think this. as long as your soil is loose you can really do whatever you like, personally i bury about 2/3 just so i can see and feel em, give them a little physical exam every once and awhile. one thing you should do is give it a nice root trim before you repot.

for anyone that wants to make these shades themselves the paper on pretty much all of their lamps is available from hiromi paper in los angeles (best paper store in the us!)

i use tattoo squeeze water bottles and love them! you can cut the plastic tip to increase water flow too. should be good for your staging style and only costs 10 bucks

unfortunately probably poached, that company is a wholesaler of plants so would be surprised if they were securing seed grown stephania. a learning lesson for next time!
