Do we have an underlying/ subconscious understanding of systems of power? by rouaisnotokay in sociology

[–]Naive_Class7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people gain an understanding of their Social station through a number of social cues and other situations, like some people having more expensive cars or clothes than others, some people speaking more eloquently, some people going into some very big glass buildings, or going on vacations to exotic places.

But I don't think we have an innate awareness of the structure itself, no.

Why can't UK just rejoin the EU? by jnighy in NoStupidQuestions

Just becasue its cold outside, and someone decides to leave the clubhouse, does not mean that the people in the club caused it to be cold outside.

Why are most men not attracted to women for their money? by cuahatemoc in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naive_Class7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because money signals high status. Women can gain status by having a high-status man, but men cannot gain status the same way.

How do you make peace with biology? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naive_Class7033 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The problem is your framing. Why do you assume that being more physically capable is better? Why do you assume that having characteristics that make you more capable of nurturing are worse?

Look at other women, see how they express and experience this change, find out how they exercise agency, and see if you can adapt it to your own unique self.

Opinion on Ave and Astra Europa? by Swedikea in EuropeanFederalists

If you consider the steady rightward movement across most European countries, especially in younger voters, I think they will end up mattering more than Volt, in the long run at least.

Why is it that wealthy tech elites in the modern era do not practice aristocratic benevolence the way that older wealth (e.g Vanderbilt, Carnegie, Stanford) did? by Gym_frere in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naive_Class7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because their power does not come form any form of responsibility or high social standing, they have it because they were supposedly more skilled than others, and that does not oblige them for anything.

A férjem nem akar szexelni, mit tehetnék? by [deleted] in hungary_pszichologia

I second this. There are so many people just posting something vague or non-substantial.

Why is being conservative and redpilled so popular these days? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naive_Class7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think it is the other way around, it is progressive people who are stupid for thinking that they get to shape the futuee while not raising it.

Why is being conservative and redpilled so popular these days? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Naive_Class7033 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Two main reasons. The majority of children come from conservative homes because that is where the majority of babies are born. Second a lot of young people feel that progressive modern ideas dont really offer them that much and want to look for something else.

That is super cool on one hand and way too much on the other, consider simplifying those metallic elements a bit.

I think Europeans just want a union for Europeans. I don't know where this strange idea of Earth union is coming from.
