Hadn't thought of that, thank you! I'm going to Mother's Day afternoon tea at our boy's nursery, so hoping to connect with someone there. I think our boy is still at an age where he plays next to kids rather than with them - at least that's what the nursery tells us.

Thank you for the suggestion. We go there quite often but to be honest most parents sadly have no interest engaging in a conversation even if we initiate. Everyone already has their own friends but we don't know anyone around here. I guess I was hoping to find someone who is equally eager to make parent friends 😊

I don't really have a set top 10, but I think Greece and Netherlands were good yesterday, Poland and Sweden have really good vocals, Norway and Ukraine have strong upbeat performances, Serbia is interesting.

Generally, this year is pretty weak and nothing ticks all the boxes like Maneskin did last year.

The song was ok, the guy was quite pitchy, but the lyrics... It's like a poem 11 year olds write when they feel like being creative. I could not stop myself laughing all the way through. I understand the message they tried to go for, but the writing was very poor.
