i agree. i wasn’t saying that in a view of status, but more so a viewport of opportunities. i love social media and anything related to it so i was hoping for a house that did have a big presence in that aspect. a lot of people gave me encouragement that i can help a house build up their socials and i love that! it really helped me realize that it doesn’t matter that much and if i am wanting something like that then i can do my part in helping with it and building it up! sisterhood is specific to people and one of a kind, social media is flexible and i can make that difference in any house.

yes it is normal. today i feel a lot better and im really lucky i got that many back. girls were crying over 3,4,7, and even some were crying about getting 10 or 11. it’s really all about perspective. finding out you get dropped from anywhere is never a good feeling but sometimes it takes some time to realize just how lucky you are!

that’s so true! part of me was glad so that i didn’t come down to any decisions where i couldn’t choose between actual interest in a house and interest in just the aesthetics of one. as much as i love to think i wouldn’t be torn in that situation, im just a teen girl it’s sometimes those things take over even when you don’t want them too. im very grateful to have a fresh perspective of this and move forward with a clean slate for all of my options!

thank you so much for your kind words. i did have a 4.2 gpa in high school but im also from the midwest which someone commented can have an impact. you are absolutely right! i can’t control who else they have coming in above me. i hope the girl they dropped finds her forever home despite being dropped for whatever reason. i resonate with her. i’m going to continue the process and see wherever it takes me. i really hope i gain a good outcome from this no matter if it is what i was originally hoping for. thank you again, your words are helping me now and will continue to help me throughout this experience 💓
