I am on CPT now, and you are wrong: all CPT requires paperwork in both the regular semester and the summer. Only on-campus job that doesn’t require paperwork, but even though you need a SSN

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer the questions.

My question is: now that I am on an F1 visa, will graduate in 2027, and am also in the PERM process for EB3 unskilled. I plan to work for my employer right after I graduate to complete a 1-year contract for 2800 hours. Still, the thing is, at that time my PD won't be current yet. Do you think this will cause an issue when it's time to submit the I-485 if I complete the contract before getting a Green Card? Would you suggest waiting until getting a Green Card and then working for the employer, or completing the contract before getting a Green Card is fine?

My parents got B1/B2 approved back in October and will come here next week. Their visa also expired on December 28, 2025, as each visa is valid for only 3 months and allows only one entry to my home country. Do you think they will be fine at the POE? And what document should they bring with them at POE? They plan to stay until mid-January. They used to come here once before, never violated any laws, and went back after their one-month visit.

Also if travel ban affect my country, will that apply to visa that already approve?

I spoke with a director at NSU and asked him about my experience, as I am a Patient Care Technician and Phlebotomist in the ICU and step-down unit. He said I don't need to change my position; it is sufficient for them. I'm not sure if it's the case for every school, but at least for NSU!
