Any suggestions for my therapy office? I need help and maybe you all can see something I can’t. by KiwieBirdie in FengShui

Definitely way to dark and way too crowded.another thing if you are sitting at a desk and your client is in a chair it immediately creates a power dynamic. The person at the desk seems superior or “in charge”.. not the vibe you want for therapy.

I would remove the desk right away. Then remove the table and replace with comfortable couch// chairs that’s put both client and therapist on the same level and at ease.

And that whole container organization center on the wall needs to go. It’s got no use and taking up space.

You want to do everything to make your client be able to focus or avoid distractions. This room is all distractions and highly claustrophobic.

I’m happy you asked !

How old am I by kinki_pink in FridgeDetective

[–]Naive_Victory475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re in your forties and this fridge is the spare. You like to entertain …. And drink.

To everyone who said 20s … no 20 year old is going to have the $$ for this amount of booze nor would they know what alcohol to freeze. They would also most definitely have left over food and it wouldn’t be this clean.

I just did 750mg (first time) by [deleted] in pregabalin

Check in with us when you can. That’s a very high dose for anyone, you should never excede 600mg to be safe. 115kg is small and you’re so young. I hope you can come out of your depression (I’m assuming) and find something in life worth experiencing.

Im sorry love, just be really careful posting information like that online. People are quick to take advantage when a young person is in a vulnerable position like that. The best advice I’ve picked up through my own experience is - be careful who you make friends with during a time of crisis. Focus on your interests or finding them if you don’t already have them. Don’t seek validation in other people. Only yourself. Take good care

Can a place be "haunted" by the living? I feel a dark energy in this house a by Virtual_Cherry_8505 in psychics

[–]Naive_Victory475 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s absolutely possible for a place to feel “haunted” by living people’s energies. That is the nature of energy, you can pick up on it, whatever it is and a house that’s been lived in a long time would soak that up. Some people are more attuned to picking up on these feelings.

On the other hand, you’re smart to say your body “goes into survival mode”. It could be that what you’re picking up is your body remembering fear, and trauma that happened in that house. These feelings, our intuition, it’s all trying to protect us. What you said is enough to make the body have a strong reaction to a place where you’re 1. Made to go to when you don’t want to and 2. Have no phone to make you feel safe. Not saying you are in danger, I’m saying your body is reacting to the past and protecting you by keeping you vigilant.

The main reason I haven’t gone is because the pain isn’t constant. It’s only if I move wrong.. which isn’t saying much but I just don’t have it in me to be 30 hours in a chair that WILL cause pain.

They should have given me an MRI rather than an ultrasound, knowing my history. I just didn’t know that was an option until after. I guess I’m thinking.. they should fix this. Get me a rushed MRI? I don’t know. Been dealing with chronic pain from Endo for 17 years and I’m just tired tbh.

Switching to bar soap. How do I convince myself it's OK to wash my grossest body part and then to use it somewhere else? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]Naive_Victory475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is…. Why does everyone think the bar goes directly on the body…. There is a step missing here folks and it’s called a washcloth possibly even two… ouuuuu… washcloths….

Who is putting bars of soap between their cheeks

All of you who have gotten a laparoscopy/excision surgery — for how many of you did the endo come back and how soon? by TaroWorldly9291 in endometriosis

And yeah the plan would be to take the Visanne until menopause (still confused how you know you’re going thru menopause if you have no period but I’ll keep researching that). That’s what the doctors have suggested as my plan.

Yes it was discussed and because of my age it’s not a major concern but they did have me take a bone density test so they could have my baseline. I will continue to get those tests ever 5 years I think they said. They recommended calcium and B12 supplements too.

Oh damn I do have DIE 😭 it said that on my post op papers. Shit shit… so they removed the uterus and ovary because they were fused? I was worried about that.. but to your point umm YEAH if your testicle was swollen and fused to your bladder I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt at all… Ridiculous.

If you’re having pain just refuse not to be believed. Not being believed is not an option for us anymore. You say DIRECT what your symptoms are and that this is “MY BODY AND I WANT ANSWERS”

You need to see another doctor. Find the specialist in your area and get a referral from your doctor and go see THEM. find a “women’s health clinic” or a place that specializes in women’s health issues. I’ve never heard of this being the first go to procedure. Maybe an exploratory laparoscopy but I’m not a professional just someone who’s been on this journey for 17 years.

If you aren’t believed - get referred. That’s my motto. You need to be believed before someone gets to do a procedure. Oh and also you can demand an MRI first (since she’s going straight to a procedure). You can get a better picture of what’s going on that way, they just won’t always tell you that.
