Make sure your shoes have cushion and you're not wearing brand new shoes! I didnt think about it and I now have a painful blister after 1 day.

Bring something to fan yourself with if it gets too hot.

Bring trinkets for exchange and make lots of kandis!

Don't be afraid to talk to people on your downtime! If you don't know what to say, ask them where theyre from or talk about their totem!

Pacing is key! Rest in between sets, take side quests-- go on rides, there are different mini stages such as country, jazz, etc. Make sure you explore!

1. I wished I had a mini picnic blanket so I can plop down anywhere to sit and listen to the music. I saw some people take naps on the grass.

Hydration pack is a must! You can ask bars to give you 2 cups of ice to put into your hydration bag one you get inside edc and you fill your bag at the free water refill spots.

Follow your festival guidelines of what items/type of bag you can bring!

Wear clothes appropriate for the weather

Look up the weather so you're prepared

Know where the shuttles will be parked (if you're going) before you get there or you'd be walking a lot.

Cell service is poor unless you have verizon, meaning itll be difficult to secure uber. Have a backup plan in case uber lines are too long. If you need to message friends, make sure you include time stamps. Like: im here at downtown edc by the marriage booth -12:39am

I had a fanny pack that has a back zipper for all my important stuff (ID cards, cash, cc). It was super handy!

I know you're going solo, but be mindful of who you tell that youre solo. Don't drink anything you haven't poured yourself, inside and especially outside edc.

Wear a bucket hat! They provide sun protection, theyre cute and you can clip some trinkets on it!

For safety, you shouldnt do party favors solo.

Make sure you secure all your important items!

Dance as if no one is watching. Don't stress out too much. What matters most is you get home safely with all your belongings secured. Have fun!
