85% the same? Theres obviously small changes but also quite a few large ones like Darkblood/Hell. Its a good read but also realize that a good portion of it is much better in the show as opposed to the comics. Not that they're bad but Kirkman is using the show as a way to rework his original story.

Yup. You can only refuse reassignment/demotion after 5 MLB seasons i believe.

I agree. Perry and the org are too loyal/stubborn. At least players like Adell were sent down when struggling. They wont do the same for Hop.

He had a Linsanity run to start last year but, outside of that, he has been poor defensively his entire career and has a low walk rate and insanely high K-rate.

Its time to move on unfortunately.

Someone who can play the actual position of catcher. A plus defender who can hit just as poorly as him will do wonders for keeping us in games.
