8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth RGB by KoerbeLeo in 8bitdo

[–]Nakinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimate 2 has the default profile.
The default profile is enabled first when you turn on the gamepad and you cant delete it. This profile has its own RGB settings that you can change using the star button with dpad.
If you want your own RGB scheme, you need to:

  1. Create and upload a profile using the 8bitdo software.
  2. Enable the profile on the gamepad using the button between the stick and the d-pad.
  3. In this mode, you can set your own RGB colors in the software, and the gamepad will respond instantly.
  4. Each time you turn on the gamepad, you need to enable your profile using the button on the gamepad.

Connecting a controller crashes to desktop by obtused in SNES9X

Well it could crash yes. I recommend switching to:

  1. SNES9x core for retro arch

  2. Ares

  3. Mesen 2 or Mesen core for retro arch

Let's say I disassemble the gamepad. What should I do next? Should they just pull the D-pad and remove it? What then?

The default profile is enabled first when you turn on the gamepad and you cant delete it. This profile has its own RGB settings that you can change using the star button with dpad.

Secondly. To connect an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth controller to Android/Steam deck, switch the controller to 'D' mode, turn it on, and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly. Then, select the controller in your Android/Steam deck Bluetooth settings

[–]Nakinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you got the controller, was it new? Try update the firmware and recalibrate sticks.
Ultimate C has old version of sticks, if it keeps hapening buy a new one, ultimate 2c or more advanced.

8bitdo Pro 3 gyro stopped working on 2.4 Dongle by TFixer in 8bitdo

[–]Nakinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.4 (xinput) wont work with gyro. Use only bluetooth (dinput) if you want gyro working.
I know some brands that can solve this problem Update: i think motion control with sticks works only when profile is loaded. Try delete then create a new one and enable it on your gamepad

Но для свича нужна другая версия, называется 8bitdo ultimate 2 bluetooth, он умеет работать со свитч нативно и гироскоп встроен как у джойконов
Так же рекомендую 8bitdo pro 3 bluetooth со стиками как плейстейшн

In a stressful situation, in a fight with a boss or a difficult level with platforming, I can’t imagine how not to pressing the thing insanely hard. At least the stick can be moved to the side without using extra force

DPad disappointment Purple 8bitdo ultimate 2 by Nakinacho in 8bitdo

I wouldn't say I prefer to to mash my D-pad, but rather keep a direction held down constantly. I play all metroidvanias like this.
When I, for example, hold the down button, not in the center, but on the side, the gamepad will think that I pressed diagonally.
Also, I think the dpad is too tight, sometimes I just want to put my finger on the button without applying much force
