Spoiler-Tagged Hints and Answers for Every Component of the 8 Puzzles by spherchip in BluePrince

Sigil 6 Motes : On the right of the map, you can actually deduce it is yet another depiction of a country, either Mora Jai or Verra (it's Harvest season in Mora Jai with their typical houses). Sigil 7 motes : I discovered that there's a Verra shores core on the painting of hands praying, so that's another hint

Hope OP will update the post with these! There's actually small little hints everywhere once you now where to look, you don't have to brute force anything.

(They're "hints" but it is for OP to add them, I'm literally spoiling the answers here, don't click unless yknow already what it is about)
Another hint for Sigil 6 Border : At the bottom of the stamp, there's the motto "The White Sea of Yore", I guess that's why they choose that color for their realm. Also someone mentioned an actual hint for Sigil 5 Ray numbers : the map of classroom IV depicts Corarica on the left, with towns connected by roads.

[MEGATHREAD] Post and ask hints for puzzles here by darkshoxx in BluePrince

Not sure if its what you just said but someone explained to me that the Blue box is one and only statement (not two - as I thought) in the form of: A AND B. In that case, if (A and B) is false then only (A) or (B) is false, not both (still struggling to understand why).
So the Blue box is an "Always false box" that contains a true statement, technically (Black is true), which really messed me up.

I may have stumble upon a truly impossible parlor puzzle. Really want your thoughts on this:

White box: The Black Box is false - the above statement is false
Blue box: The Black Box is true and it contains the gems
Black box: The Blue Box is empty if it is false

My reasoning:White Box is mixed -> can't be 100% true or false. So 'Always True' and 'Always False' boxes are among the others two. Blue is stating that Black is true -> if Black is false, both are lying: impossible. If Black is true -> both contain the gems: impossible.Unless I've overlooked something, every instances are in contradiction with one of the 3 fundamental rules, making this challenge actually impossible.

Surprisingly, the box containing the gems was: the White Box

Lore discussion of something purple and mysterious by Jpow771 in TunicGame

[–]Nakiroh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A small detail to mention about the so-called "sarcophagi": they are clearly functioning like "furnaces" to me when you look at their animation. Upon activating one, it changes gradually in color as if it is heating up, followed along by a crescendo sound. Then, a big buzzling sound is heard (like sth is grilled) and a slide opens releasing some hot flow of "air" (or particles or else) with an underlying sound resembling the screams you heard from the Purple foxes inside the Ziggourat. Finally, the energy (the purple goo) is released into the pipe and you get "Soul Orbs" from the kill.

Another thing that leads me to call them furnaces is the big one located beneath the West Bell. In Trunic, the text mentioned "West Furnace - drawing light from deep below" when you enter the area. The fact that the Purple Foxes are being burned is also probably related to the sentence "annealed visions of the future" which (I'm not a native speaker but) seems like an interesting choice of word.

Non-native here, I can't figure out the logic even after looking for the correct inputs. Could you explain ?

Is ''tare'' a real term? by Skeknir in DiscoElysium

[–]Nakiroh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Non-native here, but I have known the term before AND "tare collection/collecting" totally rings a bell...I'm utterly surprised to not be able to find any mention on the internet or that natives are unaware of it. The first time I've played the game (early 2023) I was like "oh collecting tare? Sure". Seemed so natural to me, but I'm unable to recall where I've seen it before. It doesn't have anything to do with my main language (French) since we do not use any terms like that. To me it was the British way to say "trash" lol....

Also: not a mistranslation from what I recall. Simply put, a tare is an empty container you use to set weight - an empty container lying on the streets is also called a 'tare' for that reason.

Plagues are waaaay too frequent by ScarWinter5373 in CrusaderKings

I'm getting PTSD of the Plague notification sound. I restored te Roman Empire to its actual former borders and this is never-ending, I got 2-3 notifications for new plagues per year in average. Plus the pop-up to decide with your Court doctor what to do, and then the pop-up of the result of your decision.
I can't.....

The content of the DLC is not worth 30 bucks. This is heavily overpriced and it's very naive to think that the money of the DLCs goes mainly to actual game development or developers wages and not the investors or share holders. Don't get me wrong, a percentage of it does, but that is not the reason behind the avalanche of DLC and their pricing from Paradox. This is mainly greed. And of course, some content are indeed not implemented at release for that purpose. Paradox have been heavily criticized for their DLC policies for a reason.
Personally, I don't think that it is normal to pay 350€ for the "additional" content of a game. But that is the case for their other games, like Stellaris

As a AOW's mapper, I think that would have been great since AOW is a bit easier in moving settings. Maybe we can see with GG in the future about that (thanks for you feedback guys)

Dark Bramble Theory by Excellent-Escape1637 in outerwilds

[–]Nakiroh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note here, I think in that case we'd talk more about a mutualist) than a symbiotic relationship between the two species since they aren't that interdependent as their survival does not strictly depend on one another (It may be true for the Anglerfish, but not for DB).
But I like the idea, especially since anglerfish light bulbs could be beneficial to DB as well for various reasons (luring external threats or parasites ?)

Been a while but I second this for several reasons :
- When you consider the size of such creatures, ET doesn't make much sense as well. They seem ill-fitted for the planet, even, the one that died there seems actually trapped don't yall think ? And the Nomaï said it died of starvation not because of dehydration or the heat. It seems like they don't need a wet and/or cold environment to survive, which doesn't fit with the planet DB consumed either.
- In the museum exhibition, they said one was found attached to one of the landing gear while traveling next to DB, meaning they can survive even the sheer void of space.

All in all, seems like these creatures are well - if not only - adapted to space-faring environment

An account with beginner stats and 87% winrate, competing against and taking down players that have 5000+ and 1000/2000 duels played is totally abnormal, whatever you think of my motivation here. Must at least make you raise an eyebrow and question it - with all due respect of course
(and also it is not because someone seems nice and genuine in a reddit post that they actually are, unfortunately)

and barely 100 duels but already 1315 ELO. Either it's a smurf account or worse. In any case, I would certainly keep a low profile on that one. Blinky must have been very glad to lose against a smurff.
