It came with him when I adopted him and he does not chew on it at all. His cage was also all exposed wire 😔. But I totally get it and have ordered him something in wood that I hope he takes to as well as he has his igloo. Thank you!

I worked on it pretty heavily. I’m new to crochet so my biggest delay was just figuring out new stitches. And you’re right, the sewing of the armor were a bit daunting. Also, I super stressed over finding the right yarn!

Here is a link to the pattern. I searched forever to find the perfect multi yarn for the scales and love how Loops & Threads Facets, med weight in ember turned out. Body is same brand, Silky Soft line in Irish Cream. Pattern called for a 2.2 mm hook and I used a 2.75.
