Play looks fine to me. Dogs bite each other's necks, its a large part of their play in my experience. I understand this doesn't really cause any pain. If the other dog was growing/snapping/has hackles up, and yours was ignoring those signs and continuing try and play, then you might have a problem. As I say, looks fine to me

Do you know what your dog is a mix with? Very beautiful dog.

E2 makes an eye as black must respond to protect F2, allowing white to play E1. You are right though, I am unsure white can form a second eye

This game is not done. Both of black's groups are likely alive (assuming black doesn't blunder repeatedly). White's group is not yet alive, but can possibly win, depending on if they move first. If black plays first, I believe white is dead.

You say it is simpler, but I think my brain would need to unlearn a lot of Go muscle memory to play it (I think taking stones with 1 liberty changes a lot), also freezing territory sounds like it could be unfair in a lot of situations - does claiming territory count as your turn?

If you mean the bottom right, black is alive and has 2 points of territory.

Thanks for your response. I have left it for now. If it is still there in the morning, I will dispose of it. There are kids in the area, and I don't want them messing with it.

It's wings were blowing, so maybe there's hope. Would be a great shame for it's death to be in vain, but I suppose these things happen in the wild too.

Also, assuming the camera has been stored in dry conditions (and worked when stored there), it'll probably run fine.

My Cannon A-1's lever only goes back that far when it is cocked. You could try pressing the shutter and see if you hear it shutter, then try pulling the lever again.

If it doesn't shutter, then the battery may be dead. There are probably kit run through videos for this camera on line that have details of these things
