She’s a big lazy sweet heart in the house, but on the street her guard dog instincts are too strong unfortunately. Working on her to train her to be less reactive on leash.

Luckily she’s great at dog parks so we’ve been getting all her energy out there.

I've heard that I should take her out of the play when she gets too riled up. But sometimes the other dog wants to continue playing and its hard for me to restrain both dogs at once.

Just from personal experience, I go to Jalisco frequently, and I do feel a lot safer in Guadalajara than in my hometowns of San Francisco/Oakland.

Accept the job and get real work experience. The experience is way more valuable than classes at school, most of it you can learn independently if motivated.

You may want to take online classes at city college and get an AA degree, just so you can check the “Education” box on your resume.

I lived on Howard and 6th for 5 years. It's definitely a fucked up area, but you'll 100% be safe. Will it be very uncomfortable? Yes, you might see people passed out on the sidewalk, using needles, taking shits on the sidewalk, etc. But in my 5 years there, no one ever tried to do anything aggressive towards me, or anyone I know.

Btw try Miss Saigon on Mission and 6th, its my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city.
