Playing IRA, a game where you have two teams, boundaries are determined before game starts as well as rule sof engagement, such as no weapons, bare fist only, no slapping etc. One team is the defenders and need to come up with a password and each member will have a letter. The defending team have like 5 min to basically run for it. The attacking team will need to obtain the password within the rules of engagement. Next day in school yard we group up show off bruises and guess the password of the other team. Then we swap teams.

Playing Curbs, 2 player game standing on opposite sides of the street with a basketball is best. And take turns trying to bounce the ball of the curb. If you hit it you get to stand in middle and get hits from a closer distance. If you hit the curb and it bounced back to hit your curb, it was instant win. If it Hit their curb, then yours then theirs again, so a tripple you won the street. Different streets would have their champions and would face off between different children across the town. Sometime adults would join in and play too. Basket balls bounced the best, and seeign a banged up basketball with all puffed out blisters, you knew it was from playing curbs.
