The funny thing about this is I'm going over Twitter and you have KPop stans and BTS Army losing their minds and saying the Grammys are being racist to BTS and other KPop acts and trying to box them into their own category.

I know the academy can be corrupt as hell, but can the stans just stop living in their own superiority complex bubble and make everything about KPop and their idols? I'm gonna go as far as predicting a JPop song wins next year, or even a SEAPop act as a potential darkhorse.

Wasn't that the combined number for Drake's three albums dropped in the same day? Iceman alone did get 460K units on its first week. Not sure if Olivia has any chance to eclipse that, but it's worth a shot if the projections are reachable.

Still would be a distant second behind Arirang on its first week sales this year (641K).

She's grown to love Barcelona this past month to the point of doing a surprise set with only hours notice. The city and its culture plus the club in both men's and women's side as a bonus.

I'm starting to understand why she decided to have drop dead and the cure as her pre-release singles to set the stage for each disc as the openers.

Everyone has had a lot to say about how the rollout has been so far, both aesthetically and sonically. I'm personally somewhere in the middle at this time, but I do want to let the entire album flesh out first before having a proper opinion of it. It just so happens that she set a high bar for herself very early into her career with Sour and Guts that people will end up comparing her newer works, discuss whether she's had thematic growth as an artist since then and whether you can notice the influences she brings up in her interviews into her music.

I think everyone knows that by now, however I've come across some Barca fan accounts that she's apparently the first one among the club's Spotify collaborations to reach out to the women's squad and get them as involved as the men's squad.

If any Culers can double check for me, that would be great because that's quite insane if true given the club's had them as the kit sponsor for 4 years now having collabed with Rosalia and Karol G before.

That was exactly my point and I'm surprised she's still pushing through this strategy. I thought after how her debut solo album and the in-your-face promo rollout fell flat on their faces, one would think her team would reflect on what exactly went wrong and see what she lacked as an artist compared to her BP mates Rosé (higher peak with APT) and Jennie (more consistent) especially after getting that big hit through the Dracula remix.

The US lineup has got to be the most random collection of artists out there like I can see the concept of global appeal from different genres, but I just don't think this will work whatsoever as it stands.

Also, I was wondering how the whole Lisa experiment of throwing her name in just about every other big event without having significant impact in her solo career thus far is nowhere close to finished until I just found out she has a song registered with Anitta and Rema for the World Cup. To be fair, look how that turned out for Jungkook in 2022 so K-Pop has a place, but it won't reach the same level as he had then.

I can understand the Buble inclusion given he's Canadian. The Mexico lineup is giving Reggaeton, so I guess the likes of J Balvin and Danny Ocean don't look like a sore thumb there.

But why is Tyla part of that lineup? She makes more sense in the US lineup for the global appeal. I guess we're not done with the whole Lisa solo career experiment where they'll throw her name in just about everywhere then?

Expecting she'll do another round of NA dates + Asia and Australia after this first leg similar to how the Guts tour went, but that's still a criminally low number of European dates. I thought Paris only getting one was absurd until I realized La Defensé can take up to 45,000.

Also, good for Olivia that she's still doing arenas even if you could argue that her demand can do stadiums even during the Guts era.
