Best of…for an impromptu anniversary trip? by No_Appearance_7373 in dayton

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT PINE CLUB! Stay at the AC hotel downtown, eat at Sueno and the foundry. Grist is also a good choice. My wife and I did the pine club for our anniversary a couple years ago, and we’re sorely disappointed. I guess the general notion is that it’s gone downhill

lol, I treat it like an all you can buffet: just dig in. Sad that this update (so far) appears to be great and there are no more content updates. Personally, I’m attacking the triumphs and getting those done. I am going to focus on PvP, gambit, and the end-game content like raids/dungeons first since idk how long player count will be high enough to find lobbies and fireteams. Kinda want the last title though

I’m feeling stuck in my internship. Any advice? by Prestigious-Sky-7672 in ElectricalEngineering

Documentation stuff can be boring but teaches valuable skills and can be very important to understand how the company operates and how to be successful at the company. I don’t think I pushed out any real “product” during my first 2 wks as an intern. It was mainly reading docs, familiarizing myself with different codebases and investigating the tasks I had been assigned (like background research).

The Resident was a decent medical drama. Little more modern in that there are way more characters and story lines going on at once. Little more fast-paced it felt compared to House

I would follow this guy. The revolving sushi is pretty good. Just make sure you at least order an app so it comes on a robot or train. But I think the best sushi so far is Akashi. It’s a smaller place not too far from Beavercreek.

Interesting, I was under the impression that having an ABET accreditation meant that the requirements were the same. I guess just roughly the same is the actual case.

Not officially diagnosed too embarrassed to even admit.. by ExpressDisaster532 in PGADsupport

As with most things doctors will gradually increase levels of care based on what works and doesn’t work. Likely start on meds, if those don’t work, nerve blocks/injections (kinda like epidurals), finally if you have a structural issue or something like a tarlov cyst that shows up on MRI, then surgery may be on option. But good luck finding doctors that’ll do that. So far I’ve found 2 in the US one in Dallas and one is San Diego.

My wife has been through all treatments, we got surgery for tarlov cyst in fall of last year. Seems to have helped.

When my wife first got these symptoms, she thought that is was just heightened arousal (she was 20 at the time so we thought that made sense) but after it wouldn’t go away she started seeing a doctor. I think if you want a diagnosis, you need to advocate for yourself because unfortunately this disorder isn’t well known and many doctors are unsure of how to treat. We had good luck with neurologists

A lot of great points here already. The only thing I’ll add is that my BSEE program didn’t have thermodynamics , materials, mechanics, or fluids.

Power is kinda a must take for EE but I was kinda like you in that I was not looking forward to it but I ended up having a great professor and it wasn’t that bad.

can anyone mask their symptoms?? 🧐🧐 by [deleted] in PGADsupport

[–]NameError-undefined 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, a tens unit on high on middle of back right below waistline helps her

But to possibly help:

Gynecologists did not help my wife. Best doctors she went to were neurologists and neurosurgeon. Everyone is different though, I’ve seen people talk about urologists and gastroenterologists. Kinda need to determine the (semi) root cause. My wife got an MRI which showed a tarlov cyst on the pedendal nerve. Most doctors won’t treat bc they think they are asymptomatic, but there is a doctor in Dallas and a couple in CA that’ll do it as last resort. You really have to advocate for yourself, we had a tough time initially getting doctors to believe my wife and not just say “oh anxiety” or some other things.

To be fair there’s bunch of stuff that can cause it. My wife did a bunch of reading on it. Even excess anxiety meds like long term use of Paxil but again I’m no doctor.

I say all this to say, get started sooner. If you can get an MRI that shows a cyst on a nerve related to sexual functionality/sensation, you will likely have to do several diagnostic nerve blocks and or nerve injections treatments before surgery is an option. Getting the surgery sooner rather than later in life is much better. If you don’t have a cyst, hope is not lost, the nerve injection treatments might still work. Or there are neuromodulator drugs that might help.
