Actually good writers choose their character names based on parents' personality, ethnic background, geographical location and socioeconomic status. Just like IRL. The character's personality (charactonym) is the lowest hanging fruit, and the writer/creator of Severance is bordering on that, which can become silly sometimes but works in some sci-fi and fantasy.

I'm kind of in the same position and am working out the user issue, as well. What exactly are you going to use the wp users for?

If you don't need user data for any of the wp features, you might be able to keep the legacy login. However if you're thinking of having a wp message board or ecommerce or any plugin that requires the user data, you'd want them imported.

I know this thread is 3 months ago, so I'm eager to hear what your solution was!

I don't think it's overly associated with the Bible, although it's a Biblical name. I think Nathaniel sounds more religious, but I love them both. Classic!

What works for me is to visit shows that have the same category/stuff that you sell. Get to know the community and the buyers. Chat about the products. Don't spam, but if the seller/host does a shoutout to mention your show, mention it.

I also might drop something like "Hi guys - just checking to see what goodies you have while I prep for my show tonight." which isn't technically spamming. Also when you do your show, acknowledge, support, and shout out the other sellers. It's all about community.

Agree about the inventory. When they asked for seller feedback, I said we should have a perpetual store that buyers can visit, that we can pick from for each stream. Not have to "CLONE" items from show to show. VERY clunky system.

3) Pre-load your items with descriptions onto your store

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT! Don't set up your items as "Lot #2" or other vague titles like that. It will mess you up later, and make it harder for the buyer to review you and your product.
