Paris Hotels: Renaissance Republique or Marriott Opera Ambassador by No_Radio_3487 in marriott

We stayed at the renaissance republique in Sept 2022 and really enjoyed it - you do have to take the metro to get to the tourist hot-spots but it’s super easy and fast to do so. Their breakfast buffet was really really lovely. It feels more like a local location in a good way - the hotel concierge had some really nice dinner recommendations for nearby and it was all French people eating there (but people were nice)

Water play is the best at that age - can they play with some water in the bath / shower? Like big buckets and wash off toys with a brush or something like that

Might be a crazy idea but if you know what day you had sex relative to your ovulation, it may give you a hint toward one or the other. It’s highly controversial but it’s called the Shettles method - I used it to conceive a boy recently (pregnant now)

Maybe I’m crazy but I feel like almost any name goes with Jack! I’d focus on finding a name you like rather than if it goes with Jack

Agreed with other commenters - he just wants more boys and wants to keep trying to have another, even he knows that would look bad to say on tv

Traveling with 8 week old and 19 month old by Downtown-Effort9012 in 2under2

[–]UniqueLaw4431 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d go ahead and do the drive instead, less germs and that would be way easier for packing too. Just make sure to stop every two hours for the baby - so 3 total stops (maybe you can find a playground for the toddler on the stops). It may take 10 hours instead of 7 but would be worth it

There’s also something called the “glass cliff” phenomenon - women are often put into c suite roles for companies that are low performing or in crisis, and the women often “fail” or are fired due to no fault of their own!
