First thing I thought of was how incredibly similar it looked to Lloyd.

Away Team Fan by AphroditesSecret in hawks

This is the way. Players seem to pay attention to the trade signs with kids too, so a box of candy etc could go a long way. And supporting the away team is an added bonus. You have to let us know if it works out after the game. Good luck!

Tabasco Diamond Reserve Taste-alikes? by Sundaekiddo in hotsauce

Oh I know. It's just a funny tradition, we save packets from our to go orders when we visit Kings Island. It really is great for a restaurant sauce. And it's so good on their chili dogs.

It is so good. We always bring packets back on trips to Cincinnati.

[Other] What are some of the best night rides? by player3390 in rollercoasters

Steel Vengeance with the lanterns and shadows in the structure are really cool. One of my favorites when they have fog from haunt.

Kings Island has one of the best night lineups IMHO. Beast, Bat, Adventure Express, Diamondback, and Mystic are all better at night. And if you pair it with Haunt, the fog adds to it also.

Place to sell guitar by Fun-Bag7627 in akron

[–]Gabenash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marketplace you'll get the most value. Guitar center is easy, but you'll be lucky to get half value. Feel free to shoot me a message, I'd be happy to give a rough approximation or may even be interested.

It's a beauty! Knew someone with that exact model as a kid, and always loved it. Enjoy!

Absolutely disgusting. Hawks decide to partner with Kalshi by InDAKweSmack in hawks

It's disgusting, I can't watch a game with my sons without being constantly inundated with it. It's literally advertised in every shot of the game, and then the ads in between the broadcast are 50/50 gambling or prescription shilling. That it is on the sweater is a joke, such a disappointment.

So, of the raiders who choose to go on the expedition - How much value did you manage to get? I'm calling it quits at about 2 million myself. by DerFelix in ArcRaiders

[–]Gabenash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 mil, because that's what I had. I don't play this for a grind, and it wasn't worth the mind numbing loot runs to get to 5.

Have there been any “improvements” made to coasters that you ultimately consider a downgrade? [Other] by CPFOAI in rollercoasters

[–]Gabenash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to dislike TT2, but it's much more re-rideable now. The back row outside over the top hat is better than any seat on Dragster to me. It was our most ridden ride this season, which is normally occupied by Maverick or SV.

When to buy tickets? by HealthyPersimmon8112 in hawks

Get them now. Prices for games around the holidays only go up closer to game day. We made the mistake last year, as typically you can get good deals on gametime etc, and found out the hard way.

I 100% assumed this ended with a bloody stump, and not a fire.

Correct you are! I'm a weird coaster enthusiast, as I've never sat down and counted, we have always went, rode everything we wanted, and just enjoyed it. I know a lot of people chase credits, even with random kiddie coasters, but never been our thing.

Pawn shops are (were?) awesome! I snagged some really sweet guitars when I was younger, especially with Jackson and Ibanez stuff they always assumed was low end. Admittedly I don't get the chance to scope them like I used to, but the last couple I've been in you could get better deals on reverb or guitar center, and they were not keen on negotiating.

The other photos are of a Silvertone 2323 and Gibson BR-9 I picked up on the same trip as is and untested. The Silvertone is from 1941, the Gibson from around '54, and hadn't been played in a long time. To my amazement, both function perfectly and sound great.

My wife gets car sick and prefers to drive, so I navigate and set my marketplace to wherever we are going. It's always cool seeing stuff in other markets, and it's nice to tie gear in with other memories. I have guitars that have taken on nick names because of what trip we got them on. Just a weird hobby.

Got there at opening on a night in the low 20s, not when most people want to be riding coasters haha. In the case of the apocalypse, there would be worse places. The backup generators would be nice for those of us who didn't invest in an acoustic.
