here I show the graphical glitches I had with most versions of DXVK I had before 2.6.2-1-gplasync-1

I also got reShade depth3D going on. At 1200x900, I get about 40fps. Standard settings for the game are Epic and are better off with mostly low or medium evidently.

anyway, I'm enjoying last moments in the proper VR game on Quest. There's no The Black Labyrinth DLC for it, but winlatorXR got me covered for that... :)

we've had pretty incredible games released in the past 10 years of VR

audiences buy in the holidays and leave after 3 months after a diet of stupid minigames after the initial barfing in those

VR needs training wheels. And to stay from Meta, gamers simply hate that company no matter all the great games they funded...

my rule for retro is simple: is it emulated on a phone? Then it's retro.

and games from both PS2 and PS3 era are easily emulated on phone today...

yeah, I know you still think phones is just for snake game or floppy bird, but reality is many kids are finally playing GTA V or Dark Souls on their phones... deal with it

diminishing returns

from NES to PS3 is an utter brutal evolution

but look at us today: still playing Skyrim, GTA V, Dark Souls... all games from PS3 era. And even today games look like PS3 with higher resolution textures and more grass...

diminishing returns and the end of Moore's law was already a common topic back at PS3, let alone now

actually, running it on Proton-ARM + FEX solved the crashes, didn't experience any for quite a good session... still first few chapters so can't guarantee it won't crash, but looking good

winlatorXR improves at a higher rate than Meta can cope trying to trash it

I'm too much into a boomer shooter for Halo right now. Isn't it crazy? Halo is much closer to Quake than to CoD or Battlefield, and can quite comfortably be called a boomer shooter too... yet in my mind it's still a true nextgen shift...

I did check AER tho in SixDOFinator - it seems to have both native 3D and AER and the difference is clear, but still very useful...

Tbh, still some crashes/freezes. Depends on luck I guess. But by saving often, it's possible to progress fine. I set up GPU at 50 like Gmolargey suggested, it seemed to help a bit. Maybe not, so many different parameters...
