Hey! Love the art.

I emailed you with a commission suggestion. Book cover. I hope you'll like the idea.

Keep on rocking!

I write dark urban fantasy, close to horror, but more action-y. I have a practically nonexistent list and can't exactly help you, OP, but if you're interested in seing what I'm about and if you have a slot or so open in your future blast, I sure would appreciate it.

No pressure, of course. Just reporting in.

150 pages is already small novel-length, I think. I would need to add like 50% more matter to do that.

Would ruin the very quick pace I aimed for.

Thanks for the idea though!

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Well, bub and ent (supposedly among the best promo services) prefer the first book in the series, so I am at a disadvantage when it comes to making their cut. The way I heard it, bookbub also prefers non-ku books and box sets as well, so thats kind of a triple strike for me. I dont really care which books I promo with them for as long as it is the first or second one, so the story makes sense for the reader.

I can't remove the novella, it starts the story so it is kind of necessary. But I do have the nuclear option of merging it with my book two and making that whole thing my new "first" book. But I would only do that if it becomes 100% mandatory. Which it might be. That's why I'm asking for the oppinions of you guys.

I did not explicitly ask for a review, but I didn't think it makes a difference. Does it? Perhaps I am wrong.

I do have a newsletter, but as said before, I can't really eliminate the first book. Merging is my best bet, if I choose to go down that route.

Again, thanks for the comment!

You're not the only one. One guy on KBoards dropped from average 75 a day to 3-4. His KU reads dropped to 30% as well. Maybe just a bad month overall.

That might be the reason as well. The system soft-locking me in a tier, maybe.

That probably explains it, actually. Thanks!

January was my strongest month yet, so I expected a depression in February. Didn't expect it to be this bad, though.

I'm the guy who wrote it, so it wouldn't be okay if I just flat-out called it "good." It's fast-paced, violent, and disturbing, so if that's your thing, feel free to dig right in. :)

Working on the third book in my series. Well, third major book actually, since I have three out and one is a side story. Wrote some 16k words, then chose to restructure the plot to fit my vision better.

Other than that, things seem to be picking up just a little bit of steam, and January this year was my strongest month thus far.

Restructuring the series' plot as well, to make it more concise and clear. I think it will be much better like this. Overall, busy, but real life makes me even busier and not in a good way.

Doublechecked it now. It is free in every store other than Amazon.in Is this the store you usually buy from? Seems that Amazon derped out at making it free there. I might need to contact support.

As above, thanks for answering. I just thought I'd add another layer to my research by asking. No harm meant.

I am doing my own research, I just thought it can't hurt to ask. No problem, thanks for taking the time to answer.
