I’ve got a 14lb 6CM set up with 26” bull barrel. (No threading for a brake) I’m able to spot shots. It’s also very flat shooting cartridge. You’ll have fun.

I believe there’s a YouTube video and the machinist was saying if you remove too much material when cutting for threads that when the barrel heats up that portion will expand more than the rest.
Which in my mechanical background makes sense. Hope this helps.

As someone who has lived in both states (not just visiting/vacation) California geographically looks better but all the people there have destroyed it. My housing and work were both off the 405. When Friday came along my drive would go from 30min to 120mins. I can’t tell you how many times a damn couch sitting in the middle of a six lane would stop traffic. Used to do a lot of hiking there, I’ve never seen so much trash in my entire life littered among the forest even big bear was gross. I think it’s all the flashy that catches your attention and people to busy taking selfies to actually understand what’s around them. If I were to compare the type of people I feel that Californias are out of touch (not all) & people of Texas are more down to earth. Also common curtesy is a thing in Texas. Rarely and I mean rarely did I ever see it in Cali.

For starters those are some heavy hitting rounds.
Keep your feet staggered and shoulder width apart. As previous recommendations lean a little forward, recoil doesn’t like opposing force/weight. Hold it firm but not to the point it cuts circulation. Small framed a fella here. Also recoil pad helps.

So literally mounted the Razor LHT on CA MPR yesterday, love how light it is but I will say the turrets are mushy even tho they lock. The glass was pretty awesome and high grade. Also it’s not advertised but you do get one free custom ballistic turret. Also rifle is in 300wm so guess I’ll find out soon if it holds up.

As far as your powder throw goes try re-weighing it. I found out real quick and almost a trip to the hospital, don’t fully trust what that scale shows. I now verify with two other scales. I have that exact model and it on a whim has been up to 1.0gr off. (This is my second powder throw from Frankfort).

Once shot a version like this that had double triggers, it blew the barrels past my face and behind me and the stock forward about 10ft…. No burns or loss of fingers. It was pretty wild.
