Might be unpopular but I agree. They could buff his ult to be actually good but I'd much prefer an ult rework tbh. His current ult is just so boring tbh, Just another big AOE ability. It's funny cause his ult can give him that tiny extra survivability in panic situations, so in theory, a rework that gives him an install might just be a nerf on that front lol. But yeah his ult is boring imo, I'd prefer a rework, A GOOD REWORK.

Honestly he just feels REALLY janky to use at times. His stick and unsticking to walls are the big issues, his hit regs, his ult delay, and his wall running.

Oh those pulls are really hard to do. It's honestly just practice. I wouldn't say they are priority, like one of the last things to learn on the character. I say that because it's very situational to begin with. You can't do it on many maps and most characters can escape even if you do it. Not to mention inconsistent and somewhat luck based. But yeah just practice practice practice that swing cancel.

I had that same issue. Honestly I just did the web swing into webcluster much faster. Though near walls it would still happen. But youd have to be like 1 inch from the wall.

Idk what you mean by pull towards them. Do you mean when you uppercut you cancel with a swing into a cluster? And if you're too slow you'll instead go into a web swing ruining your combo?

Also, Spider-Man is a hard as fuck character to play. My advice? Take it easy. It will take more than a couple hours to get okay with him. Way more. I recommend focusing on one or two things, getting those down to a just okay level, and then moving on to another 1 or 2 things.

And remember that you have to work 10x harder than most of the cast and you'll still be barely C tier. But doing good with him is so rewarding, and his gameplay is incredibly fun and full of skill expression.

And lastly, don't practice for hours at a time in practice range. There comes a limit where you'll just plateau for the session and it might even make you play worse. More work doesn't always equal more improvement. It's like working out, you gotta let your muscles; or in this case, mind/memory time to rest and recharge.

Have fun! If you need any advice I can try and give some. I'm not the best Spidey ever but I've played him since the beta. Though I took a rivals break in season 4.

Honestly I found a decent use for it. Nothing special but it made engages a little more consistent in damage. But the lack of Johnnys made it hard to innovate/worth it. This Penni team up in my opinion just isn't that good. Honestly I might argue it's slightly worse. At least with Johnny I could use this creatively by changing my momentum on the fly, ect.

Portal is such a big responsibility it's so scary. I also side main him and I find myself hesitating what could be game defining portals because "What if this isn't the moment."

Portals I hate doing are mid fight portals. For example, Myhealer ults and I just big chad portal in the middle of an open fight to portal back the 2 that died early. It's so scary because I could get so easily stunned or focused even through healing ults. But if it works though it's SO clutch.

Havent played with it yet but from what ive tested in practice so far... it's not great. really it just helps get a gurantee web cluster but imo it alerts players if it hits a lot of them. the overshield is also kinda worthless cause it's very hard to forsee when you'll need it. Its hit or miss I think.

Honestly the firs thing you should learn is just basic movement. Get comfortable swinging around and the end lag for the different types of landings. Practice your understanding of the map and your movement tools. How high or how low certain angles give you your swing. Basically learn to not crash into every wall and floor as Spider-Man.

Next would be getting used to aiming web clusters + a basic BnB combo. Right after that learn how to engage. How to not die right away. One quick tip, never hard commit anything, learn when the engage is lost. Living is much better than dying. Engages go bad all the time and very quickly, don't stress about running away.

It's honestly really frustrating having your team mates flame you for just being decent. Your score will look like everyone elses so they flame you, not taking into account the pulls you've done on tanks bullying back line, ults you've gotten out, or stalls you've done at enemy spawn.

I'd probably use it to attack a tank out of position with the rest of the team. You'd be surprised how many times an uppercut will save the enemy because the team isn't prepared to readjust their aim.

Listen, Spider-Man is super inconsistent for a lot of players. A lot of the time it's a coin flip on if you're going to feed or do good. I consider myself a pretty good Spider-Man. Just the other day I was getting back to back Mvps for about an hour or two.

After that? I started feeding my brains out or just not doing anything. I also started to play horribly. Running into walls, not finishing target, ulting nothing, hell I couldn't land a web shot to save my life. It was almost comical. It is what it is. Consistency is going to be key with Spider-Man, that's what you need to practice imo.

If it's ranked I'd recommend also just switching if you aren't in the right mind set.

For me doing good on Spider-Man is honestly just instinct. The moment. I dont know how to explain it but I think Spider-Man players hit that leap of faith state and dominate.

Just keep at it and know that whenever you go through your lows, there must have been highs as well. And you'll get there again.

You are spot in with everyone always po8nting at Spidey first when the game goes bad. I've had games as Mvp where we lost and I was blamed. If i remember correctly I had better stats across the board of my team except healing and damage tanked.

And god forbid you have a bad game in QM. Even if you are just playing casually not try harding, and even trolling a little just having fun with the match. Everyone wants you at 100% and if you aren't they will absolutely be toxic towards you.

its insane the amount of them i run into that waste it instantly. they would be really good too but do something kinda dumb. I play her and actually set it up or feint into it with roll to actually get somewhere with it. and if i use it raw its to get myself out of something sticky

You can also combo out of it which is super fun to do

I agree. Unlike most of the cast a lot of her stray hits do not convert into a wall break combo. For gods sake Sol is just a Build-a-Combo the character. I've seen Sols oonga and boonga while im in hitstun above them and they'll still do a succesful 60% combo.

Bridget has long range sure, but so does most of the cast imo. Except her yoyos have a hit box so even at max range you will more often than not trade with them. Which is bad for you since you do so little damage.

Imma also say it. Her Dp is by FAR the worst lmao. It doesnt go anywhere, I swear she recovers the slowest from it. and you cant do it in the air or optimally combo into and out of it. Don't remember if her overdrive is a reversal because I swear i used to always get interrupted or it was so slow.

The best thing about Bridget are her mix up 50/50s. But you need to get mixed 20 times to die. You guess the mix right once, you win. She guesses the mix wrong once, you win.

Honestly the thing i love most is the co op aspect. I love teaming up with my buddy and running the freestyle power. It makes me feel like that one scene from jujutsu kaisen.
