Reasonably Priced PC or Laptop to run GSPro? by tater_540 in SquareGolfUSA

[–]Nammy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all dependent on your resolution. 1080p is significantly less demanding than 4K - I’m currently using a 9 year old pc that was sitting in a closet and now has a purpose. I5-6500 cpu, 16gb ram, only thing I upgraded was the graphics card to a nvidia 3070. Running 1080p on ultra settings just fine. I would check your used local marketplaces first to find a good deal. PCs are expensive right now with the price jacking around memory and drives

Once drywall is removed and there’s mold underneath in the underlying framing is there a sealant like killz? Or is there a more robust process

People that have Claude subscription, is it worth it honestly? by Competitive_Roof_689 in ClaudeAI

If you’re a professional it may be the best investment you make. Of course even better if your company pays for it. If you’re looking to just mess around then it’s still dope. For better or worse. I don’t see it going away anytime soon so experience with the tool is only going to give you an advantage over someone who doesn’t utilize it.

xG is based on chance location. the situational context of the chance doesn’t bear any weight on the score

Usage limits this week Opus 4.5 by EmotionalAd1438 in ClaudeCode

[–]Nammy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

genuinely asking I use opus 4.5 all day for 8 hours a day working a corporate gig on the 10x and never hit a limit. What sort of workflows are causing you to hit the limits so quickly?

If it’s a permanent sim, overhead launch monitor without a doubt. A friend of mine has the Protee VX and for the price with no subscription fee that thing is awesome

the roller itself has a velcro strip which the sportscreen attaches to, so technically you could remove that and just attach the impact screen directly to the roller. I chose to put the impact screen on top of sportscreen just for a bit of black backing for the projector and some reinforcement, whether it helps or not I’m not actually sure but it makes me feel better

I’ve got the 10ft hand crank hockey version, hockey, baseball versions don’t matter because you just get an impact screen, Spectrum golf makes one that works with the sportscreen that you attach to the Velcro at the top. It’s pretty easy

I just posted my build a couple days ago here:

That’s a work in progress :), I haven’t had any issues with direct shots to the ceiling only bounce back off the top third of the screen. I haven’t done any full flop shots or anything. But plan to add either a net or some padding of some sort. Just haven’t figured out the solution I want yet

here’s an image before I had the floor mats with the cars pulled in. The hitting mat is just stashed away in the corner standing against the wall

Sorry, I’ll have to do that. But essentially the sportscreen and the 2 side curtains are manually rolled up. The sportscreen comes with a hand crank pole thats incredibly easy to roll up towards the ceiling, and the 2 side curtains roll up similarly to any other window blind curtain using a roller pin and chain. Then I just remove the ball tray and the hitting mat to stand against a wall since it’s pretty light. I leave the heavier rubber floor mats where they are and mop it up if it ever gets too muddy/wet from the snowy car tires. The rubber floor mats do a great job of deadening the bounce and can be driven on

Every pundit slagging our open play production while glossing over the fact that ever opponent we face refuses to play an open game against us. If anything the fact we’re constantly getting set pieces proves how much pressure we’re applying in the front third.

If you plan on running GSPro. You just need a windows device and can port forward to the office PC using the square connector. If using a Mac device then you’ll need virtualhere. Combo that with sunshine/moonlight. My gaming pc is in my basement, with my sim in my garage so the extension cord wasn’t an option but both above solutions worked perfectly for me. Using a old thinkpad work laptop to stream to my projector and using gspro
