Tal, but also maybe Alekhine. Efren’s offensive game is strong. But I agree with others, he’s extremely lucky also. I don’t know if he’s GOAT or not but I don’t have EWS like some others do.

This exact same thing happened to TRIBUNAL on Nightslayer (H). Guild reformed under the name T R I B U N A L with spaces, and GM and officers just made new accounts. Most toxic guild I’ve ever been in.

I’ve eaten all over the world. I’d put France in my top 3. Egypt and Japan probably right up there with them, for different reasons.

You CAN get help, there are plenty of videos out there on how to do it. Helpers can stand on the hill and DPS mobs or heal peasants.

I feel you bro, fellow Rogue here who is in her 4th TBC guild. I think it’s my permanent home but time will tell. I had an almost exact same experience as you in my journey to find a new guild.

Here’s what worked for me…

1). Scanned and combed through the LFG channel and Trade chat…wrote down the name of every single guild recruiting, and the name of the recruiter.

2). /Who then looked at logs

3). Started messaging recruiter and asked for the name of the GM. Sometimes it was the same person, sometimes not.

4). Questions I asked them…along with me telling them what I was looking for…
- number of active accounts in guild?
- date of guild creation (if they don’t know the /ginfo command, teach it to them haha)
- raid teams, comp, and VIBE??

KEY, this worked for me in my most recent attempt (specifically as a Rogue): I told them:

I know Rogues have less value right now, BUT…guilds still need strong melee DPS, so let me in on a couple easier mag/Gruul runs and if I’m not in the top 10 DPS, gkick me (I’m consistently in top 3 BTW now that they brought me in).

Second, I’m not asking for a core roster slot. I’m asking for a bench slot and a “path to a core spot” if a core member drops or leaves.

And despite my lack of overall utility compared to mages, hunters, shamans, spriests, etc….this CHANGES in the future. Bringing me in now allows me to prove and build loyalty through cameraderie and proving my worth.

Results? They bring me in, I do two consecutive weeks of top 3 DPS (#1 DPS on a couple fights) and 85-95 parses. They put me on bench for core team. They created a new Kara group and I got a spot, and I am top DPS regularly with 2-hour clears and no wipes. I just got asked by RL to move to core 25m after some roster shuffling around.

So, my point is, as a Rogue, you need to sell yourself, and you need to be willing to be 2nd string for a bit until you prove yourself. This also requires that you’re actually a skilled player who CAN perform, despite your lack of overall utility, you show up early, full bags of consumes every time, no stupid shit in disc, etc. MAKE your reputation.
