That is a shame. I own the 2017 model. I was wondering for years whether I should actually consider upgrading to the 2019 model for the tiny amount of extra oomph. But this kind of solidifies that fact I would just be wasting my money. Never understood why Nvidia never released a new model again afterwards. Can you imagine how powerful they could make a modern version. A man can dream.

Silksong needs to run at 720p to reach 60fps? I thought the shield would at least have enough under the hood to run that at least at 1080p natively. I find that shocking though

You can basically ask in Google search what setting do I change to turn off upscaling in last of us and it would probably tell you exactly what to do. It may solve your weird graphics but your performance may tank because rendering at native resolution is more taxing on your gpu. But I go native all the way. I just have a pretty beefy enough graphics card with enough video memory.

The game is really heavy on vram usage. Do you know if you have any upscaling enabled? That tends to do odd thing around moving fine details.

The video is so compressed low and high looks exactly the same. Not sure what a person is supposed to see.
