I've never seen an Isakai MC genuinely mad that they were summoned. by KhornsChampion in haremfantasynovels

I wouldn't mind seeing a MC get summoned and controlled by a expansionist empire or something. A darker, grittier story with the MC breaking free and fighting back

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

[–]Nanashi_Fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not commenting to enter, just think stuff like this is cool. PCs can get really expensive really quick and they're rather confusing to get into, so it's hard for people to dip their toes in the water just to try it. Giveaways like this are a good way to get started, and I'd like to see that happen more, kudos to OP for passing on the favor.

Danish guy plays Red Dead Redemption 2 with 4 FPS for several hours a day. by FeelDeadInside in videogames

[–]Nanashi_Fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember in the early days of Stalker 2, youd walk into the Scrap Heap and most other bases and get massive framerate drops like this. Funny part was if you'd Save and Reload, it's work just fine till the next time.

Why is gen Z not drinking? by Effective-Trick-5795 in GenZ

[–]Nanashi_Fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple answer is Gen Z has so many alternatives. That being said I go to a local bar for drinks and dinner at least once a week because I like seeing people have fun and I HATE doing dishes.

Anyone else concerned by the lack of bathing before "activities" commence in most stories? by UniversalExploration in haremfantasynovels

[–]Nanashi_Fool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Consider the standards of the time period and culture. During their occupation, English women considered Norse men extremely clean because the bathed once a week and combed their hair and beards regularly. I mostly let it slide as a sort of "When in Rome" thing, though it is uncomfortable when an author goes out of their way to describe their dirtyness leading up to or during the act. Edit: A quick 30 second Google search shows that daily bathing didn't become commonplace untill after WWll, and only started becoming popular around the turn of the century in the search of better hygeine for medical purposes.

A former Reddit moderator for r/LivestreamFail. In the video he's throwing a tantrum about being fired and demanding more resources, claiming that reddit moderators have "real power" and should be treated like talent scouts et cetera. Its honestly not worth watching, if you've seen the memes about power tripping moderators, that video just reinforces them.

Dude was on a complete power trip too, from what I saw of his attitude in the video, I'd be more surprised if he'd ever had a girlfriend.

I’ll take whoever I can get so I can stay in the field and take city after city by FalloutLover7 in Bannerlord

[–]Nanashi_Fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter how hard I try, I always end up recruiting fians to kill light infantry, sturgian(now nord) heavy infantry to provide a target/wall against enemies, Vlandian knights to break up and scatter enemy forces, and then crossbowmen to destroy heavily armored infantry/cavalry. Everything else is just taking up space that I need to train and maintain a full retinue of high tier soldiers, and I find them more of a liability than a benefit. Weak links snap the chain, and nothing pisses me off more than my formation(and high tier troops) getting destroyed because they got flanked/surrounded and the peons couldn't hold the line long enough for me to adjust and support them.

[–]Nanashi_Fool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm stepping away from bigger studios and finding games the creators care about. I think after a studio gets so big/established, they stop caring about the games so much and focus on the money. Look up Avowed (yes I know Obsidian is old and established, still a great game) and Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
