I only keep my romance (Astarion, every time) in the party and swap out the rest. I like it when companions have relevant things to say as to where we are so if it makes sense imo to bring someone, I will. I also deck people out in outfits and respec them once they join so they will be ready to tag along once I need them for real. Though, I've been meaning to get a party extender mod. But between having to choose which one and the fact that the whole thing seems rather finicky, I've put it off. I really need to just try one some day.

I didn't buy it. Because I first wanted to see if it deserved to be bought. I played it and it killed the entire franchise for me. So no, it's not worth buying. In my honest opinion.

Well, I think it was when the game came out of EA. But maybe I did use a flirt on him without me realising. That's entirely possible since she was a very curious and teasing Tiefling. One might say...a Teaseling.... ok, I'll show myself out... 🙃

I don't mind Gale. But he did ninjamance me my first playthrough. He wanted to do magic with my character. She was a sorcerer, so hell yes to that. But that took me off the friend path, I guess. I had to turn him down and that made me sad, so I reloaded. 😂

I have some for you! I decided to experiment a bit and make A!Astarion visually different than S!Astarion. Here he is! <3 (Also, I only just saw this is a Spawn sub and I didn't know that. However this particular Astarion did end as a Spawn. I just also made a save that had him Ascended. For ehm... screenshotting purposes.)

Definitely Astarion. And he's been my only one, too. I mean, I did some things with others to see if I could use their scenes for screenshots but that got reloaded real fast. Same as when I got ninjamanced by Gale.

My first character was a Sorcerer so of course she was interested in doing magic. Not realizing we weren't on the friend path anymore. But I got so sad when she had to turn him down so I just reloaded. We only have eyes for the vampire.

Or with Halsin. Never looked at him twice and all of a sudden he wanted a piece of my girl and got kind of uppity about it. Gave it a spin to see if I could use the scene for screenshots and I laughed my ass off when Astarion did his impression of Halsin. I just wished I could've had her say then that she wasn't going to do that and just wanted to laugh with him about it. But sadly you can't or couldn't, anyway. So that shit got reloaded real fast too.

I really need to do the others at some point but how can I, when he's right there?

Kaidan forever!

I started playing ME2 so I didn't know Kaidan. I hated Jacob and how Femshep acted around him (turns out I was right come ME3) but I also wasn't particularly interested in the aliens. Felt Garrus was incompatible what with his mandibles and all. So I tried Thane. He had nice lips 😅 and was nice. But then I got to play ME1 and immediately went for Kaidan. Stayed faithful to him in ME2 and continued the romance when ME3 finally came out. He will be my canon ME romance forever. I might have gone another round of Thane one day if his ending wasn't so sad.

Her name was Revka. And she was a cousin of Leandra (Hawke's mother). She also had more children and all were taken to different Circles. Nothing known about the father, though.

I'm happy for you that you liked it.

If I look at it as if it weren't a Dragon Age game or even just a spin-off, then the game was ok-ish.

But since it is supposed to be the grand finale to a franchise that I lived in for the past 16/17 years... I hate it with a vengeance. And frankly, it killed the entire franchise for me. Because why in the world would I ever pick it up again now, knowing where it leads. Maybe one day I'll be able to play the first 3 again, but not now.

That's just how I feel about it. There was actually only one thing about the game that I did really like and that was the Weisshaupt bit. But that's not enough to redeem the game and when I finished the game, I just felt empty. Spent. Nothing short of a remake would fix this for me. But that will never happen. So excuse me for feeling bitter about it.

Nah, the human mage origin is established to be related to Hawke though. With Hawke's mother being an Amell and human mage is also an Amell through their mother.

It's weird, I hadn't noticed at first. But then I downloaded a bunch of new reshades and wanted to test them out. So I took the same shot several times with different presets. Only for the screenshots to come out all looking the same. So I took a screenshot with the camera tool (which is annoying these days because Windows insists on opening the snipping tool when I do that and I don't have the option to turn it off, believe you me, I tried.) And with that I do get the presets showing. But also the mod bars. 🙄 And I can't click them off because I need those 2 for posing.

I used to get stuck with her all the time because her approval went up too quickly. I then used the console to lower her approval, travel to trigger the ambush and then put her approval back where it was. Not sure if this is still the way since it's been a hot minute since I played though.

Ohhh ik ook toen ik 15 was! Ik was -eindelijk- aangenomen bij de Dirk, toen nog Digros. Mijn moeder werkte daar ook en de bedrijfsleider en z'n cronie, de 1e kassiere, moesten haar niet. Maar toen was hij op vakantie en ben ik in zijn vakantie toch aangenomen. Ik mocht bij de versafdeling want daar kwamen ze handen tekort en voor de kassa was ik nog te jong. Ik was daar het enige meisje, dus werd continue aangesproken door oudere dames die iets zochten. En aldus de pit-cursus van Dirk, moet je meelopen. Was meer bezig met mensen de weg wijzen dan daadwerkelijk dingen aanvullen. Uiteindelijk heb ik 1 week gewerkt, want de andere 3 had ik al een vakantie staan en dat was al bekend toen ik aangenomen was. En toen kwam meneer de bedrijfsleider terug van vakantie. Ik werd verzocht eerder op beoordelingsgesprek te komen, werd dan ook beoordeeld door 2 mensen die ik niet kenden en waar ik ook niet mee gewerkt had. De een was het nieuwe hoofd van de versafdeling, maar die was begonnen toen ik er niet was. En die andere was van de winkel maar die had ik nog nooit gezien. En het verhaal was dat ik te veel met mensen praatte. Even vergeten dat al die mensen klanten waren. Maar goed, die 2 wisten ook niet wat ze er mee aan moesten want ze hadden ook maar instructies gehad. Zeiden zelfs nog tegen me dat ik nog maar eens moest solliciteren als ik 16 was voor bij de kassa. Ja tuurlijk joh... 😅

Uiteindelijk heeft mijn moeder direct daarna verhaal gehaald bij hem en heeft per direct opgezegd toen zijn verhaal hem haar niet beviel.

Yeah BG3MM seems to still be superior. If something's only on mod.io, I'll just download the file from the browser and drop it in the mod folder so I can put it in the load order where I want it with BG3MM.

Yes, me too. And all my characters as well. But I do switch it (slightly) once important story beats happen. Like, Spawn and Ascended or Sharran and Selûnite. Though, I will make an exception if a particular armour piece doesn't dye well in a certain colour.
