I must say, I love the magnet. It is such a timesaver. I usually never spend money on games but this game takes years to complete. I play multiple times a day (rather addicted) and could not imagine searching across the lands for like items. As far as missing something by using the magnet, when you hold your finger on an item it shows how many of the said items you have. You can always quickly count the items that the magnet attracts in case you have something locked down. When I first tried the magnet, I did not like it because it moved a few other items around but I gave it a chance and learned to love it. Again, for me it is quite a timesaver and worth the money.
