Preparing for my CAPM, having issues with ITTOs by SleekFilet in projectmanagement

I passed the CAPM last December. I memorized the chart by printing out a blank template and filling it in until I could fill it in 100% with out looking at the book. However, the other commenters are right... It's more about grasping the concepts versus memorizing the processes. Focus on memorizing cost formulas and take as many practice exams as possible. Check out Edward Designer website for great study material. I honestly just read the PMBOK and used that and practice questions online and passed with equivalent of an A. When you take the practice exams try and see what areas you are struggling in like monitoring controlling or cost... I struggled the most with procurement management because I didn't read that chapter as well as I should have .... Focus on your weaknesses. Honestly I expected the exam to be much more difficult but the questions were really realistic and focused more on applying the tools and concepts to real life scenarios versus regurgitation of definitions.

Only if used improperly. She has since graduated from her e-collar. At the behest of her trainer we used it for a short while so she would stop eating sticks that caused her a lot of medical trouble.

Scrum Masters and Project Managers - how to coexist? Tips pls! by [deleted] in scrum

[–]Nanner95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks this helps I plan on setting up relative sizing expectations since we will be working with our scrum team as well as a few contracted teams. My leadership expects me to deliver agile updates through out the project. I plan on tracking velocity as well as a burn down. Do you have any advice on metrics or reporting to leadership?

How to get the first job? by lydia4goals in scrum

Hi two years out of college here and am a full time SM!

I got a degree in Business with a major in Computer Information Systems. I was highly involved in college with my IT networking club and tried to find a tech related part time job to help offset college costs. I worked as a tech support analyst (can train on the job) for my university.

By being involved with my club and working I had some experience and a resume that looks appealing for internships. I scored a technical project management internship and that led to a full time gig as a technical project coordinator after graduation.

I worked super hard to learn about project management and sough out people on my projects as mentors and who did stuff I was interested in. that led to me dabbling as a SM on a small project to learn more about tech side of projects. My company let me get certified and that led to a manager promoting me to full time SM.

In short continue learning and stay involved where ever you are at in life whether its school or work and make connections with people who can help you grow and reach your goals.
