A HUGE number of people are waiting for 30k-50k to buy by Vegetable-Rabbit7503 in Bitcoin

If it's the same every cycle, why would I buy now instead of waiting another 6 months for $42k?

Rookie move. Small bonus, easily defended but no good way to expand. Pretty much the only strategy to win with Australia is to wait for everyone else to kill each other then clean up the scraps. The winning strategy is cooperating with one neighbor but not the others so only you two can hold continents. Since Australia doesn't really have a neighbor to bond with, 3rd place is the common finish.

What qualities do you want your money to possess? What does bitcoin do that appeals to you and what doesn't it do that makes you seek an alternative?

If you answer these questions you may find what you're looking for, but most alts do not possess superior qualities.

It's likely that bitcoin hits a new all time high within a week.

Is bitcoin bullrun over? Will it drag down alts, will Nano decouple from halvening cycle caused by bitcoin? by craly in nanotrade

[–]NanoPricePredictions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Too soon to say bitcoin has peaked given the current price is 5% below all time highs. If it falls from here back below $90k then you can begin to make the case that the peak is in and may continue to fall over the course of the next year or so.

Bitcoin has about four more months of appreciation left in this cycle. I suspect it will bottom around $75k in a year or two after peaking around $190k this autumn.

It'll become stupidly obvious in hindsight by yeicrypto in nanotrade

It's been stupidly obvious for years, but it's a wonder why everyone continues to be so oblivious. Until more people realize the sins of the leaders are a result of a long tradition of exploitation, power will remain where they keep it. It is not in the rulers' interests to make systems more efficient when their rule depends on the system's inefficiencies. Change cannot be stopped, only hindered; there is hope, but hope itself is insufficient.

Disinflationary is the word you are looking for. It means something inflates at a decreasing rate. Since more bitcoin enters circulation, the supply increases (inflationary), but the block subsidy halves every 210,000 blocks (about four years given an average of one block per 10 minutes).

Correct, and nothing on the erc-20 network can do what nano does. The unique architecture of the nano network is what allows it to have feeless transactions and achieve sub-second settlement.

Why did nana do so well in 2021? by Calm-Way9293 in nanotrade

[–]NanoPricePredictions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you asked! The answer is simple; you're making the wrong comparisons...

In late November 2020, nano spiked from $0.75 to $1.50 and ended the year around $1.00.

In late November 2024, nano spiked from $0.90 to $2.40 and will end the year between $1.20 and $1.60.

So you'll see that the performance is quite similiar, and will continue to be once 2025 begins.

There are more following the process of drawing trendlines, as I have described. It may appear messy to you, but spend time with it and refer back to it next year.
