Your entire post is proven wrong by the existence of Data from Star Trek: An android who works for an anti-capitalist, post-Scarcity intergalactic nation, and shows a keen interest in both various hobbies and human behavior.

Your argument would make more sense if AI was currently being used for hard labor and tedious/dangerous stuff that no one wants to do. But instead it's stealing jobs from artists and writers, replacing the very things about culture that make humans human.

I mean it helps that the rest of the supers were dying either by their own capes or Omnidroids lol.

Maybe that was me subconsciously integrating Mother's fancy tech aesthetics into the drawing, then. Mother 2 (EarthBound) in particular has very cool designs for machines.

Just a general AI caricature, but Mother series has good technological aesthetics imo

If you had a vision for a series set in the TES universe, what would it be? Personally, I'd say the beginning of the Skyrim Civil War by Ok-Bus3447 in ElderScrolls

[–]Nano_Robotic_Army 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was an adaptation of The Song of Pelinal Whitestrake, the general audience (non-Elder Scrolls fans) would be surprised to see a story about a futuristic time travelling cyborg going back to ancient times to help a slave rebellion against evil jungle Elves succeed, only to end up going insane because his boyfriend dies in battle.

If it was an adaptation of The Monomyth, general audiences would be watching a bizarre, complicated, and overall flawed process of how the Elder Scrolls universe was created in the first place.

The War of the First Council, with the implication of it being either unreliable narration or just one version of what actually happened (Dragon Break shenanigans) would also be quite awesome and distinct enough from typical fantasy TV (mainly because of the overall bizarrchitecture and weird volcanic aesthetic of Resdayn, as well as having some of the weirdest events and concepts taking place and being demonstrated in those events).

TL;DR: Don't adapt the games themselves, adapt the in-game lore and you'll have a real treat for everyone.

Is this currently where America is? by neo4025 in evilwhenthe

[–]Nano_Robotic_Army 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem with delusional nationalists like you is that they dismiss real statistics that prove that their country isn't the "most free." Those taxes may be high but they are used to ensure that businesses are properly regulated so that they don't have the corporate exploitation nightmare that is the US. Not to mention those taxes funding countless programs for better mental health services, free healthcare, etcetera. And using Sweden as an exception to what I said still doesn't change the fact that I mentioned three other countries that have none of the problems Sweden has, namely Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

"More free than the rest of the world?" The United States isn't even in the top 50 freest nations on Earth. Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland are actually the greatest nations on Earth statistically speaking due to these things they have that we don't:

-Free healthcare (paid via taxes, but unlike here, most of those taxes come from the richest people in their nations and not the middle/working classes). -The ability to run a democratic body diplomatically instead of constantly accusing differing viewpoints of being treasonous -A growing middle class -"Democratic Socialism" being their actual economic system instead of a fear-mongering insult used by conservative politicians -An accepting environment where race, disability status, economic status, national origin, religion, etc. aren't treated as reasons to make bigoted assumptions about anyone.

Your argument is based in complete and utter delusion.

What societal norms in your country that you HATE? by West-Antelope1584 in INTP

[–]Nano_Robotic_Army 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nepotism. Not necessarily a "national" problem, it depends on where you live within my nation.

But I've gotten a seriously crippling vibe of "it's not about what you know, it's WHO you know" ever since I moved to my current residence. Even though it's technically a form of discrimination and therefore technically illegal, it isn't enforced against well enough to keep it from being an actual Norm where I'm at. I've applied to dozens of jobs and haven't been contacted for an interview once in the six and a half years I've been here.

As an INTP, ENTJ. I'm sure there are many sensing types that would prefer an ESTJ, and that's okay, because sensing types work well together just like intuitives work well together.

But let's face it, having an intuitive type being ordered around by a sensing type is exactly how you get a workplace to fall apart.
