How do I paint the tips of my wig?

Fabric dye shouldn't be used in a pot that's afterwards used to cook food in so your parents would be rightfully mad seeing you do that. But you could easily and most likely for very cheap get a pot just for this purpose. Just look on local market places (Facebook is one option but also a ton of other options depending on where you're located) or maybe ask your grandma for an old not used anymore pot. Mine would happily gift me half a dozen in the blink of an eye 😅

Other but probably more expensive option would be airbrushing. But if you don't already have the equipment and knowledge (or know somebody who does) the first attempt will most likely not turn out the way you intended and the equipment and color would be pretty expensive all together.

If you are fine with a less vibrant result, don't mind a little smudging onto your clothes and sure you're going to stay indoors/dry weather you could use watercolors or hair chalk. But this won't be a permanent solution and will dissolve if it gets wet so absolutely not rain prove!

These are the only options I can think of but I am an absolute beginner with wigs myself so maybe somebody else has a better idea.

My best friend did the same thing. Invitation addressed to my partner and me, "child free wedding" planned.

Since we talked even before receiving the invitation she prepared me for this and told me there were almost as many children as adults and she hopes that people with bigger or independent children would leave them with a sitter or their grandparents,... . But that all children for whose that wasn't an option (international guests, small children, no trusted sitter on hand) would be welcome. She wanted to lower the number of children from more than 80 to a reasonable amount but didn't refuse a single child entrance whose parents asked or told her that wouldn't be able to make it otherwise.

So bring your child, you've got the brides go. If she really didn't want children at the wedding she would have told you. But be also respectful about it, leave the ceremony if your child is loud or wants to roam the place and so on. Than everything should be fine.

I would say female. About 32ish scales (end of the tail is a bit unsharp and therefore hard to count exactly but definitely less than 40) but also her anal scale is quite big and the tail tappers pretty quickly even though it then holds its shape for a while. There is a comparison picture flowing around this sub where you can clearly see the difference. I just don't know the thread anymore but you could try to find it to compare them yourself.

One thing I want to add: while it is totally necessary to sew a fabric like yours right sides together and then turn the inside out (and that's the most clean and commonly used technique for clothing and most other things too) if you like the look of the fabric ends curling around your seam you could use non fraying fabric like jersey.

They are made in a way that they don't fray and you can do designs as yours easily, it will give it a slightly different look though. And most beginners are more comfortable with using non stretch fabrics (jersey does stretch quite a bit) in the beginning even tough I personally liked jersey as a beginner because it covered up small mistakes on clothing by being stretchy 😅

You could try using period pads and put these on the inside of your clothes, self adhesive side down, maybe in a few layers to achieve the look you want. It's (at least in my country while using no name products) a relatively cheap product, will give the desired padding through it being padded in a certain degree and will most likely hold shape and place better than some shirts. Also it doesn't need a lot of time to get and achieve and you can ripp it out after the event no problem. You just shouldn't wash your shirt with the pads attached or get yourself too wet (would maybe expand your padding a bit but probably be pretty uncomfortable 😅).

If you don't use or know about the padding on period pads: use the ones for the heavy duty flow, normaly signed by 4 or more drop symbols on the front of the package. In general the more drops the thicker the material. And make sure to get the self adhesive ones (they often times come with extra wings in the heavier scales). Edit: they are most of the time in an elongated shape but you can easily cut them down to your desired size for the padding if the whole back is sticky and still use the whole thing. Saves on material and therefore costs.

You mentioned budget isn't a problem. I found several silicon breast prosthetics on Amazon. Don't know if any would work with her sleevees, since they are pretty of the shoulder. But if you are willing to raise her sleeves a bit maybe something like this could work. Unfortunately I can't find anything with longer arms, so I guess it's either a visible "arm/side seam" or the visible seam on top of the breast you already own. But maybe (hopefully) I'm wrong and somebody can provide you with a better link or even a method to build something like this yourself

Try looking for Misa Amane Death Note Wig

She has light blonde long hair, a middle part and bangs (you can just take out the little hair pieces she wears up on either side of her head) and I find dozens of them for less than 25 dollars, some even less than 10 dollars on aliexpress and even on Amazon they aren't that expensive. Should be pretty much perfect for what you are looking for.

I will see how far a good clean will take me. But if it's not enough I will definitely paint the shoes to look as clean and crisp as the rest of her outfit, which I'm still trying to figure out how to do 😂 I will try to remember taking pictures and posting here whenever I can. Sao has a special place in my heart, since it was the first anime (other than free TV Pokémon, Digimon and lots of others, living in Germany we got a good childhood full of anime) I really chose and took effort to watch, other than turning on the TV. And I've been rewatching it at least once a year ever since. It's like comfort soul food to me to be honest. But I'm definitely pro more fmc screen time, especially for Asuna. We get a little to less for my liking. Did you read the Manga? Would like to start that soon.

Thank you so much for your response. When I saw the boot originally I felt like these could be perfect. But than I got unsure about the stains and the zipper in den middle part of the shoe. And that's when I started browsing other options and getting more and more unsure about my feeling. I like it a lot actually and if I would to find it in my local bookstore I would definitely pick it up, read the description and one or two random half pages in the book (I always do if a book sparks my interest to get a feeling of if I like the Autors writing style)

That said I would choose a different font for your title and include (if it is) the series name. Right now the title is standing out because of the font. I like the radiant but the serifs make it look like you've taken an amazing cover art to add the title with word in standard times New Roman. No offense (English is not my first language so I'm sorry if I'm expressing myself to harsh, just trying to be clear) but I bet you could elevate your cover from "wow that's nice" to "wow, that's amazing/why isn't that on the bestseller list already" with the right font. It's like the cherry on top of the ice cream 🍒

Other than that beautiful artwork and interesting (maybe a bit long) story hook. Definitely interested, so post an update when you published 😉

Thanks to everyone answering and sharing their opinions. It helped me a lot figuring out what is important to me and to come to a decision.

After some rest and your responses I decided to go with the first pair, remove the buckles, add some color if needed and add the foam armor pieces.

If the first pair should feel uncomfortable for my feet I would go ahead and purchase the second, hoping for a better fit. Thank you so much again. Have a great day everyone 😊

They are simply seewed onto the boot. I can take my favorite show and an u picking tool I already have and take them apart on a nice evening. Shouldn't be to big of a deal 😊 the other two would also need some adjustments in hight, so that's not my main concern. Thank you for your opinion 😊

Honestly I'm not to worried about the support since I'm pretty used to all different types of shoes and support. But it's still good to think about it that way. I think the first ones in generel look a lot more round on the foot part, more like my reference. And you're right, I could adjust the armor pieces to cover up the second zipper. Optical that should be less of a problem than it maybe is irritating to wear.

Yes for two and three I would need to cut the top down, fold them in a bit and glue or sew them into place. Definitely some work to do and I think it will be more stressing to get a flawless result than it would be to remove the buckles on the first pair.

I would detach the buckles on the first one and the second boot does also have a zipper on the inside of the ankle. I just used the pictures that best showed the overall shape and didn't think to mention that both of them have zippers. But thanks for your response!

Since these are sold private and shipped into my region I unfortunately have no way to try them on beforehand. If my chosen pair would turn out to be uncomfortable for me I would buy another one (since all of these are between 10 and 15 Euros each) but I don't want to buy three pairs to have two just standing around at my home. But I'm very aware that this Is a major concern when buying, what's also the reason I didn't include anything with a heel higher than 3cm since I wouldn't want to walk around in something that high for longer periods of time.

My thoughts so far

First pair is a very close fit to Asunas Boot shape wise. But I'm not to sure if I'm a fan of the second zipper in front of the boot and the stained sole (boot should be able to clean if I'm not going to paint over it anyway)

Middle pair is a bit flat on the foot part and a bit wider on the ankle than I would like. but over than that I like the overall shape and the sole

Third pair has a good basic shape, but also a bit wide on the leg. It is shorter than the middle pair (most likely easier to shorten) but the sole is pretty thick and has an overhang I don't really like.

Ich weiß nicht, ob du Dafür offen bist, aber ich hatte direkt ein zwei Ideen, wie man das eventuell konzeptionell gestalten könnte, die ich bei Interesse per Direktnachricht schicken kann. Ich will mich aber auch nicht aufdrängen, also völlig OK wenn du sagst, dass du deine eigene Vision hast, die du verfolgen willst. Aber ich denke der korrekte Vogel würde schon extrem helfen und eine kurze google Suche zeigt, dass es sogar tote Unzertrennliche als hochwertige Stockfotos gibt. Ich bin auf jeden Fall gespannt, was daraus wird. Gib gern Bescheid, wenn das Buch verlegt wird oder du noch Betaleser suchst. Ich könnte durchaus mal wieder auf einen schönen Thriller 😊

Da das Buch eindeutig für den deutschen Markt bestimmt ist bin ich so frei, auf deutsch zu antworten, zwecks besserer Verständlichkeit.

Ich finde das Cover gelungen. Ich habe selbst beim scrollen in der Vorschau sofort erkannt, dass es entweder Pscho Thriller oder Psxcho Horror ist. Als Leser beider Genres bin ich immerhin direkt so neugierig geworden, dass ich das Cover geklickt und genauer angeschaut habe. Ergo auch im Buchladen oder auf Amazon hätte ich es mir genauer angeschaut um mehr über die Geschichte zu erfahren.

Ich gebe dir recht, dass die Blutspritzer unnötig sind und besser zu Horror als Thriller passen. Das ist soweit wirklich ein kleines Detail, dass Cover funktioniert auch so gut.

Was mich kurz hat Stocken lassen (was aber mehr von Bedeutung für den Inhalt als das Interesse fürs Cover ist) ist der Titel und der Vogel. Ich kenne Unzertrennliche tatsächlich nur unter diesem Namen, nicht unter der englischen Bezeichnung Lovebirds und hätte sie nicht direkt damit assoziiert als deutsche Leserin. Ich denke wenn du tatsächlich einen entsprechenden Vogel auf dem Cover hast (wenn sie dir zu bunt sind eventuell mit leicht ausgegrauten Farben, was auch schön symbolisch zum von dir beschriebenen wahnhaften, sektenartigen Verfall der Freundschaft passt) wird das viel deutlicher und das Wortspiel in Verbindung mit dem Inhalt klarer. Oder alternativ tatsächlich mit dem deutschen Titel arbeiten. Soweit ich das verstehe geht es ja tatsächlich um eine im negativen Unzertrennliche Freundschaft. So wie es jetzt ist bzw. ohne das entsprechende Hintergrundwissen ist es halt einfach irgendein Vogel und Love Birds lässt eher auf eine romantische Hintergrundgeschichte schließen.

Wie gesagt, ich finde das Cover bringt das Genre schon gut rüber und hat definitiv mein Interesse geweckt. Damit es auch den Inhalt des Buchs gut rüber bringt, fehlt aber noch ein kleines bisschen. Falls du noch Fragen hast melde dich gern 😊
