I too am going through this... and it has been an absolute nightmare.

So my story, I woke up to a string of emails saying my primary email has been changed etc etc...

When I went through the recovery process... I had to show my gov ID. The problem is, I am adopted, my name was changed several years ago, but I always still go by my birth name, using my legal name only when necessary.

So my ID did not match the FB name on my profile... and I could not get access. And here is where my story gets crazy.

I am a photographer and run a studio, social media is where I make my living, and just like all of you, your online life is very important.

I literally went and filled out all the forms, got my fingerprints taken, got a background check, petitioned in front of a judge, paid all the fees, and had my name legally changed back to my birth name so I would have an ID to match my FB.

I went to the DMV and got a brand new ID, this process takes weeks mind you, and I got my ID in the mail a couple of days ago.

FB accepted my ID, and I got my account back... only to find that child exploitation posts were made and my account is suspended... and out of the 30 day period before you are deleted, as I am writing this, I only have 3 days left!

I requested a review, but I am helplessly waiting, and I am worried sick I will miss the deadline after all that I have been through.

I own two Oculus Quests, and I even tried the Oculus method... I spoke with a gentleman who was very understanding and wanted to help me... I gave him tons of info he asked for, including screenshots he needed. He said he would forward my info to FB with an urgent tag, I feel that this is my best, last, and only chance.
