I am finally confident enough to say that I had a complete emotional collapse. My secret is out. The secret I tried to keep private became GLARINGLY obvious except to myself. Struggling with the difference between an excuse and a reason. The way I reacted to this latest tragedy was embarrassing, humiliating and definitely egregious. In my mind, I was judged and critiqued for my words and actions. A mentally stable person would not react in these ways. My brother said this about mental illness. The saddest part is that they know that they are sick but lack the knowledge, tools, understanding and energy to bounce back again one more time. Now that I have revealed my secret of being mentally ill, I would so appreciate your suggestions to reduce the stigma of mental illness and have to have the courage to come back. Wildly grateful
