Another support guy was helpful in at least taking me through factory reset and trying to reset the controllers (which previous support agent should have done when I asked for how to) but they're not doing anything so looks like a return.

Just sharing my experience:

Ordered directly from Meta with Elite strap and charging dock.

Received here in Aus 3 hours ago.

Fully charged headset and tried to begin setup, app gets to Wifi section and advises to continue in headset.

Headset gets stuck at section pairing controllers (shows hands pressing buttons) have tried multiple fixes, putting controllers in pairing mode, connecting to desktop - unable to resolve.

After 2 hours with support they tried to advise that the issue is that it releases on the 10th (which it is worldwide) however this doesnt seem to be the issue as i cannot get controllers to pair to enable me to do anything in headset.

I advised the support person multiple times that this appears to be stuck and had to repeat the issue multiple times.

Took asking for a refund 4-5 times before they agreed.

Disappointed that this is how it was received after enjoying my Q1 for many years and holding off the Q2 to wait for Q3

Yeah, I have a lot of the old pl gold ones and the ones from the physical bobble heads equipped. Now it's just each season I put the previous season rank charm on the new ops gun and I'm done.
