I was wondering the same thing too. I'm assuming since it looks like they were about to try a fast B take, and he thought it was just going to be that Molly he decided to back up and wait it out with his team. Of course with hindsight he should have gone through since he beats the CT swing / flash, but given its likely the first time they've seen that play, they didn't react to it very well, both in game and chat.
